In this video I take you through the service of my Royal Enfield Classic 350.
I used to go to the Royal Enfield service center always but they do not allow any one to use the camera or film anything so this time I went to Javed bhai's garage to get the service done.
What did the service cover?
Oil and filter change, Rear and front brake cleaning, Clutch cable lubricating, carburetor cleaning, Spark plug cleaning, Washing and Anti-rust application.
If you live in Mumbai you can call up Javed bhai and fix an appointment with him to get your bike serviced. He services all 2 wheelers.

Get a "fego float" or "Ride on AIR" air cushion seat from amazon bro. Keep the original RE seats. Aftermarket foam is not that good. Do not modify the original seats.

In case u want oil change to done properly then take our right , left and tapid. Cover.clean them throughout .

I think engine flush is required only in 10 year frequency. Same for car. New engine will not have any gag.

Gaurav why did u add hp racer 4 oil ? Also does it reduces the vibration on the bull as the same mechanic was seen putting motul on anothr bull for Raj ..

Hi, HP Racer 4 15W-50 is the same Royal Enfield Liquid Gun in a different package. Liquid Gun for Royal Enfield is also made by HP. I got it cheap for only Rs 589/- for 2.5L on amazon.in but now the price has increased.

hello bro I had a doubt..after applying the anti rust coat and let it be dried for some time ..if in the next day we washed the bike and cleaned with a cloth does the anti rustcoat removes..

No bro, The anti rust coating does not get washed off with shampoo or with water and can only be removed with Diesel, petrol or kerosene.

Ya bro I know. After the rains are over, a quick diesel wash will remove the anti rust completely and the bike will be as good as new. All enfield owners need to do it every year. It just costs 120/- with labour charge. I strongly recommend it.

Why not simply apply a coat of wax? I wax my car annually with Turtle Wax and it survives a whole year of washings.

Coat of wax is good but it does not work properly in Mumbai rains and the humidity is often 80% or above during this season which lasts of 3 months or more.

Hello bro..Gonna buy it.and i have a one doubt.Since RE does not have fuel guage meter,how could we know about petrol reading??How much left in tank etc..??

Don't worry about the fuel gauge bro. Reserve is about 2 to 3 Ltrs and you can easily cover a lot of distance ( 60 to 70 Kms or more) to find a pump. In most parts of INDIA you will find multiple pumps every few kms. Just keep the tank full most of the time. So as soon as the bike hits reserve, bring it to full tank. Hi, thanks for making this video. I have also bought RE on Nov 2017. currently I travel everyday around 30-50 km on my RE. I'm facing one issue like when I stop my bike the engine is so hot that I feel that heat easily if I stand near to my RE. so is it normal or I have to do something? one more question... can you tell me in short how to maintain our RE properly means how often we should change oil of engine and chain, how often we do servicing and all other important stuff. thanks in advance

Hi Prashant, excessive heating is normal. Just switch off the bike on traffic signals, it usually happens in traffic as there is no air flow. Chain lubrication should be done every 500 Kms and oil (mineral) should be changed every 3000 Kms but RE says to change at 5500 KMS. I don't wait for so long. Hope it answers all you questions. Animesh Kalbere Cost is 450 better you should go for electra handlebar that is 419 that is also suitable for re classic 350 and for that no need to change your wires

the mechanic has over tighten the air filter bolt. why silence bend pipe is not coated with anti rust..?

The mechanic over tightened it which i later fixed at home. Javed bhai told me that the bend pipe does not catch rust as it usually gets very hot and water does not stay on it, so no need.

Good Video!!! Was expecting the carburetor cleaning part..as i own a classic 350, clocked 25k km till date and i haven't cleaned the carburetor yet! Is it mandatory to do so?

Thanks for liking the video. Yes bro the carburetor needs through cleaning with petrol or carb cleaner spray as it gets clogged with dirt. You should do it with every service if you ride a lot or 3 to 4 months. Javed bhai cleaned it with petrol in other nearby garage as there were too many bikes and there was literally no place to work and both spark plugs were also cleaned there.

Why are you cleaning the spark plugs? What is it that you are removing? Does your fuel contain lead additive? In the US we leave our spark plugs alone for at least 100,000 miles. In fact, some cars' plugs are never removed, staying in place so long that they literally 'marry' the cylinder head and are next to impossible to get out.

Fuel in INDIA is 100% lead free but the spark plugs still get covered with carbon and turn black and need to be cleaned every couple of months.

Well, if they're sooting why not change to a smaller main jet and/or drop the mid-range needle a notch? Correctly jetted, your plug should bear a grey to light grey ash on the tip and a tan electrode. If your plugs are sooting up so badly imagine what the combustion chamber looks like. Or the exhaust port. Or try to picture the coke build-up on the exhaust valve. Yikes! I'd pull the head and take a good look at all that. Coking on the exhaust valve will glow red hot and pre-ignite the fuel charge when the engine's under load, such as when accelerating or climbing a hill. Do you hear it 'pinging' under either of those two conditions?

Yes you are right buddy, Raj is doing a wonderful job and has a good channel. Hi Amrit, It's a small 20Rs anti-rust chemical bottle with no label, available at any auto parts store in Mumbai. Royal Enfield service center does the service but i don't like that as they just change oil and wash it and give it back. They have a target to service 30 to 40 bikes a day.

There is no name for it bro. It comes in a dark glass bottle with no label on it. Just ask for antirust liquid at the local auto parts store if you are from Mumbai. It costs Rs 20/-, I am not sure abot other states in INDIA. Stay tuned for more videos. Thanks.

The yearly maintenance cost really depends on your riding style and how much you ride. I have done 6300 Kms in 1 year & 10 months and have only serviced it 5 times till now. Going to office & back mostly and a few casual Sunday rides. I am planning to start riding now so the maintenance cost will go up. Hope this answers your question.

I told him not to apply on spokes as it gets very difficult to remove later after the rains. Just need to keep the spokes clean and as dry as possible, or WD40 can be sprayed on them once a week.
