Royal Enfield Classic 350 tappet noise adjustment  

Ask service centre guys for tappet setting when your bike is still in free servicings. At first they will deny. They will say we can do it after 4 to 5000 km as engine it still new and your need to drive for some more kilometers. but you push and ask them to do it. Otherwise, you will complain to the company. And when they are doing this tappet setting, make sure you present there and they are removing your tank and then opening engine to do the settings. They will just fool you, and will say that we have done the tappet settings. Important thing is tappet settings require to remove your tank, then required to open your engine and that’s why the Service Centre guys don’t want to take these efforts when you are still in free servicing. Once your free servicings gets over, they will force you to do the tappet settings and it will cost you more money. This is happen to me. I was requesting for tappet settings and they were just postponing it for each free service saying that it is all OK and sound is normal. But at very next when I was there for first paid service, they were forcing me for tappet settings. Same two service technicians were convincing me that sound is not normal. And I was laughing to see how people can go this level to earn more money.

Large number of people who self service find the Exhaust tappet is wrong from the factory yet the inlet is spot on and needs no adjustment.

Bhai, Mere classic 350 m bhi Tappet sound aa raha hai, showroom m gaya to bol rahe h ki 2nd servicing m krna. 2nd Service m 2month/2000km baki h. Please provide ur suggestion.

You guys getting tappet noise problem etc etc😂 while me with my bs3 classic 350(9yrs) with no noise and also using free flow silencer (1st long punjab then multibend cobra) since 6,7 years 😂😂. My engine has never been opened and fuel tank was cleaned for first time 1 week ago as i was having missing problem. Well the problem was water outlet was blocked and the tank was filled with water and now everything is fine. And yes the sound of tappet comes when engine is too heated.
