Royal Enfield Continental GT Review 

This is a nice way of reviewing a bike. Just a bike and a normal guy telling about it. No shitty music, no presenter who tries to act cool or funny, no special effects... just basic and pleasant to watch. Well done.

Nice looking bike just like the original. Duplex frame and decent alloy fork brace will help the handling too! I've seen a few vids about problems with this bike on you tube as well. I love the way they've made the mudguards, living in the UK.

Its always great to see good old mike explaining about the bikes so honestly.

I got to ride one of these, the Classic and the Hymalayan in Geelong (Nevermind Adventures) and loved it! Coming off my 1130 Benelli was so different as Mike explains it was the most fun I've had at the speed limit. Totally engaging!

Must admit that i do want to add the 535 to my stable. Already have a Scram 411 and Super Meteor 650. Would go nice to the collection.

Hi I have just bought a GT and I have to say after riding it for the last week I love it it handles great looks awesome and the first thing I did was get the rocket launcher exhaust off it and put a £80 chrome tail pipe from AEW called the wild boar on ebay uk now it sounds AWESOME and I cant stress that enough it's amazing so thanks for a great review and I hope this will convince people Royal Enfield is back and to get there hands in there pocket and buy a continental GT.

It's not really long stroke, at 87x90 it's almost square, the 350 is long stroke 70x90. It's no crotch rocket but for comparison it does have the same torque as a CB500R but over a much wider rev band. The speed you can go up a country lane is limited by the ample availability of solid scenery. I agree new Enfield riders always try to rev too high but the torque is down low.

Great video. I’m looking at one of these in the US. A couple of questions, can this cruise at 120 kmh on the highway? I’m not into speed but might ride on highway trips from time to time so I’m curious if this can handle that? Also, is it possible/easy to put on new handlebars? I don’t care for the v-shape handlebars and would prefer putting on more standard bars.

i did own an 2014 535 cgt,few modification on the EFI and 2 looks more cafe racer,lovely bike in deed i love to ride it,the bads point over 200kg is a way to much for this can of bike 160kg can be a reaching goal for it,and 10 more horses, the brembo are ok not much more regarde less off 200kg,but yes lovely bike not a neoretro an retro bike

Made in India=Great quality+ ruggedness to climb up Himalayas. Good for Indian roads where you barely go above 100 km/hr. Would've bought one in Canada for 9k but monthly insurance of 500$ is deal breaker hahaha

History is repeating all over again, the Japanese bikes killed RE now RE returns and the Japanese have started producing or redesigning and releasing classics again, the problem with re has been improvisation and moving on to better technology and manufacturing process, their bikes rust and rattle overtime the bike just falls apart if that is addressed and better components are used and available if it reaches a higher reliability level even with a slightly higher price RE would kill it but then again i am not on the RE board.
