Nice review. Its good you said your height too - I'm not much taller at 5'7", so nice to see what would be comfy, and still be flat-footed when stopped. I'm still on a 125, on my CBT, but just looking for ideas for when I pass my test, and looking for my first "bigger" bike.
70 mph you get vibes in the bars ,saw a guy in India he put better quality grips on and no more vibes he said ,food for though ,jimmy. Australia nice bike good value and it dose every thing it says on the tin ,Royal Enfield spent a few years on research and development a lot of people were involved they had a dozen rider hammer it through the Himalayan mountain rough roads it’s been very well tested suspension and power is good for a thumper 👍😎thanks for your video mate
Thanks for watching. It’s a huge improvement over the 411. I have been at AMR a few times, always welcoming and left to look around without feeling pressured. When it’s time for a new bike they will be my first port of call. Ride safe.
Great vid Al mate & thinking you might have tested out another few while here? 😬👍 I've got half a dozen bikes i want to go test ride, but I'm a lazy son of a gun of late! 🤣👍 I'll definitely stick this place on my list as can kill 2 birds with 1 stone while I'm there! 😎✌️
I am going to be moving to scotland so what would be your tips regarding snow and whether to leave it in the snow outside or no? i am extremely inexperienced with snow 😭
Where about in Scotland? Snow is actually pretty rare in most places, unless your in some of the higher areas of the Highlands. If it Glasgow, Edinburgh or the rest of the central belt I wouldn’t worry about snow. I would be more worried about the salt put down on the roads during the winter. If it’s a daily rider you’re going to want to cover it some kind of anti corrosion protection and wash it down very often! Ride safe
Thanks for watching. On the road they are very similar. I think the Himalayan would be better for light off road. The CB500x had better weather protection with a bigger screen and fairing. Worth trying both the Himalayan and the NX500 if you’re considering either. Ride safe.
@@althescottishbiker yeh mind a have the same bike as you it was me that asked you about the connection under the seat and I must thank you for that ,al be sticking with the Honda for now ,great video tho 👌
