Vstorm is better. Better fit and finish. No body rusting unlike Himalayan. Lighter by 30 kgs. Better handling in all conditions. 250cc Suzuki engine. Still More power than Himalayan, more refinement, more mileage, more life, less headache. Good ground clearance. But lesser suspension travel than Himalayan. I guess you won't be jumping off ramps in any case. Price is high but so is Himalayans.
I bought V-strom in 233k on Road & Got Riding Jacket worth of 7000/- with it 226K is not overpriced i think. Abhi tak 11k Kms chala chuka hu & this is one of the Refined machine I've ever ridden.
Today i rented a RE Himalayan in Gurgaon and the owner was also telling me to take but i always liked the Himalayan so took it long story short after 10kms i realised why my dad always used to criticize Royal Enfield . Came back to the place and took the Suzuki and never regretted it. Long story short if you are looking for reliability comfort and milage go for Suzuki if you want legacy and full off road go for Himalayan but it need mucch mucch mkre maintanence.
If u cannot afford a vehicle then don't criticize it..... RE is RE bro.... Ye Suzuki shuki 3 4 saal baad apni aukaat dikha dete hain..... RE saalo saal chlta hai.... Pehle research kiya kro fir gyaani bna kro
@@aseemsaini857 umm from where did the afford part come ? I guess you are entitled to your opinion and so am I , but ya I cancelled my scram booking after this test ride and got myself a 2020 versys 300. (Pre owned ) . Since then all my friends who have RE for so long are searching for a kawasaki in the pre owned market. I guess you should always keep an open mind.
Suzuki stands for reliability, quality and engine smoothness which Himalayan or any royal Enfield bike can't have. I am not biased but I have tested and hence know. Also Himalayan is 200kg and vstorm is 167 kg that is big change. Suzuki is charging more because of the quality and premiumness also vstorm is a tourer and not an offroader
Hell yes my brother has himalyan and it’s quality sucks plus i was also gona buy one cuz I didn’t have anything else in budget then the suzuki came out I got married to it Plus where i live suzuki v storm is 80% more expensive then in india but it’s doesn’t loose its value alot rather then RE it loses 40% after 5 years
Suzuki har 3-4 saal me apni bikes k model band kar deti hai. Shoulin, samurai, fiero, hyatey, zeus, heat, slingshot, GS150R, inazuma, intruder. Sab models band ho chukey hain.
250 cc but Top speed is better than Himalayan 250cc but very smooth as butter than Himalayan High Rev engine with better fuel efficiency than Himalayan Road Presence in Better than Himalayan Instrument cluster is better than Himalayan Reliability and Trust of Japanese Technology..... 🙂
Bro did u ride the himalayan ? Bro himalayan just glides through everything and you don't need to change gears.Himalayan off road is much much better than vstrom
Have been riding bullet electra 350...started looking for an upgrade, considered speed 400x,new Himalayan 450,Dominar,yezdi adv and finally vstrom 250..felt wow at first test ride itself..Vstrom stand tall from other bikes in these aspects suzuki smooth engine, less weight, well managed heat, no vibration ,less weight, easy city handling without stalling in low torques ,decsent mileage and most highlighted thing is the road presence....an underrated bike in this segment..just go for it
Go for vstrom....no minor problem during your journey Comfort is better than himalayan Mileage also better than himalayan And also more light than himalayan
Both are good. Suzuki is smooth but bikers and cruiser will face some problem in rough terrain and Himalaya is basically all terrain bike can climb mountain, swim in river with all loads, basically it is SUV on 2 wheels
Suzuku Vstrom is a good 250 CC adv bike, but the price at which it is being sold is unreasonable, hence I would wait for the price to go down or go with a better option.
Actually the price mentioned in the video for V Strom isn't final . I got mine for a discount of 20k and a free riding jacket worth rupees 7k. So Overall you can save upto 25- 30k from the price mentioned in the video.
I’ve owned the Himalayan and presently use the Vstrom. Himalayan was hard to maintain due to multiple issues. BS4 was decent but still quality was definitely an issue. Off-roading was better on the Himalayan due to its dedicated nature but on road suzuki is way better. Also Vstrom isn’t really an off-roader but with more dedicated tyres it manages extremely technical terrain quite well. I used to do those stretches with my Fz25 also after changing into Timsun rubbers so I’m guessing it’s 80% tyres anyway. Basically if you want a vehicle that can comfortably off-road and take on extreme terrains and are willing to put up with mechanical issues, maintenance issues and frequent visits to mechanic Himalayan is your guy. If you want something that is no maintenance no complaints but does not have the capacity to off-road as well as the himmy get the Vstrom. I personally feel that people in their 20s would be better off in a Himalayan and people over 27-28 with a family and responsibilities would be way better on a Vstrom.
Bhai Mera paass Scarm 411 Hai... Abhi Maine VStorom 250 sx Black Lene Waala... Satara pee Mear Dost Liya .... long ride ke liye Accha hai VStorom...Love from Westbengal Ghatal Duspur 🇮🇳🙏💚🙏🇮🇳💚🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 #chikurider
RE Himalaya is like a THAR, very solid but unrefined. Suzuki Storm is like Jeep Compass, more refined but lacks the ruggedness of Himalaya or Yezdi Adventure.
Not even Thar, Atleast Thar gets some electronics and equipment. You can compare this to perhaps the commander 😀 Yezdi is already dead on arrival, forget about service, spares or any kind of after sales
Rather than doing this it’s better you purchase a Himalayan only …..because if you change the forks the v-strom weight distribution will be a mess ….it will not be practical to do that buddy
Himalyan hi lena tha dost, par tubeless tyres nahi hai. Varna pura mann tha either Himalayan ya yezdi adventure lene ka. 200kgs ka bike puncture k baad mai ghaseetne wala nahi hu.😅
Hii sir.... I'm planning to buy a new bike....I have 2 bikes in my mind... I'm majorly confused between which one choose...Suzuki v-strom SX 250 or the Honda cb300f... Can u please suggest me the one best bike Between these two.....??
Sams thought on my mind sir .. confused between yezdi adv and v storm . Cons in yezdi: mileage and engine heating. Cons in storm: suspension and with the given prize tag .like we r getting much more in yezdi with little bit extra cash.
Good review but Himalayan has now come of age, buddha ho gya hai RE, RIP ho jao ab. V-Strom 250 SX has 4 valves, tubeless, butter smooth handling and flickability compared to 2 valve dugdugi
Tum RE lelo bcz of its good suspension and higher cc engine but tum har din off road toh nhi karoge na bro. Sab youtuber log v vibration Ki Baat karte Hain but fir himalayan pe vo baat kyun nhi karte bro aap log bas ek kaam karo Himalayan chlao then v strom chlao u will come to the conclusion that in every aspect suzuki is best. But i like the sound of himalayan but at the same time it feels very noisy thoda time acha but jab long tour karte hain toh kaan kharab kar deta hai. If v talk about v strom mujhe ek hi chiz kharab lagi that company ko suspension pe thoda or focus karna chahiye tha. suspension kharab nhi hai bhot acha hai apko problem nhi ayegi. but if company is making an adv bike u should give an comfortable suspension but at the same time suspension is day to day life and for long tour bhot acha hai
I saw in a vlog that the charging port and the instruments keep failing and also that the power curve dies in the midrange and you need that grunt for touring. Else very smooth bike foes offers 6 gears over the RE But still fit finish isnt that great also no spares and reliability issues persists
RE Himalayan is far more better then V storm Don't judge the bike in normal road ......RE is legend if u people don't believe then ...... believe me bhai log sach bath karwe hota hai...... See the Himalayan is successful in every tough road like Ladhak Leh Khardungla Gurudongmar etc.... Baap baap hota hai
Par insan bike leke har din toh ladakh nhi jayega na. RE offroad me definitely achi hai but ab toh ladakh me bhi utna offroad nhi rha bro RE ka sespension bhot acha hai but weight bhi toh jada hai na bro smjho na bro 😎
Vstrom is kinda stupid product way less suspension travel just the ground clearance but then with more seat height and costs 50k more than gixxer 250, also compared to Himalayan this is less comfortable but yeahh suzuki is fast to reach 100kmph, anyday Himalayan if u want to off road or go touring its does it very well suzuki is only for city primarily and it does nothing more than gixxer250
Depends on your usage i guess. Most owners of himalayan never take it proper offroading. Proper meaning jumps and serious climbs. For everything else suzuki is pretty ok. So for a guy doing 95% on road and 5% offroading its still makes more sense to buy the strom and rent out a himalayan for the trail day. Maintenance of an RE is hell. Just spend half day on it.
