As a Hunter owner for last one year, I would like to add that shift to Castrol or Motul Engine Oil and feel the difference. In my case the engine, after using Castrol for 7k km, has become almost vibe free in all revs. The gear shift too is nearly flawless. Also swap the mirrors with those of Bajaj Avenger for a zero vibe large field of view. Since the wheel base is short, it is extremely flickable and handling rush hour traffic is a breeze. Regarding low ground clearance, I have never had any issue, even two up, on crater filled roads of Kolkata and sorroundings. And the sweetest spot is the price. I am a totally satisfied owner after 10k km even after owning a Pulser 180 dTSI first gen (15 years) and RTR 200 4V Race edition for almost 5 years...
1. I'm staying in Hyderabad, clocked 14500kms till now, in my RE Hunter 350. 2. To be honest if you're looking for a bike for short rides no less than 15-20kms daily then this is a perfect bike for city. 2.1. You can move around as it is way more lighter. 3. Engine refinement is very good but not the best. It's like 8/10. 4. Mileage I recieved on an average is around 36kmpl. No matter how you ride wheather it may be calm or in a rash mode 33-35kmpl is the base mileage. 5. Take this vehicle only if you're a solo rider. I recommend to add-in the Bench seat accessory for it. 5.1. It'll enhance the look as well as pillion comfort. 6. I only purchased coz, RE has good resale value as well as wide service network.
VAI AS A HUNTER OWNER MY OPINION ITS A VALUE FOR MONEY FOR EK MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY KE LIYE.& ITS A FUN TO DRIVE .LONG DRIVE GAYA BAHUT MAZA AAYA.LEKIN 80 SPEED IS SUPERB,GEAR BOX SUPER MAKAHAN MERE HISAB SE.SUSPENSION AAPNE THIK BOLA.
The suspension on the Huntur is better than Classic 350… its stiffer so it will be better in cornering…also if u go over big potholes it wont completely bottom down..also it has shorter turning radius…check any of the UK moto journalist reviews…Huntur is supposedly the best handling RE..
Bulu ji, i am your long standing subscriber. I am 50 years young person. Can afford high value. I request you to encourage other those have height limitation around 5.3 or 5.3 to have test drive of bike. I know your height is similar and i saw your video that lesser height people can also manage heavy bikes. In summary we should encourage good points in machine and man. I am expected my hunter in coming week. I decided this after taking test drive since i wish to drive responsibily.
Absolutely... RE makes primitive machine... Hype se kuch nehi hota... Performance is the last words.... There is nothing in hunter to be compared with Bajaj Triumph S400....
@@sumanbhowmick8 but I'll have to spend a lakh extra, starting with selling the hunter at atleast 20k discount, spending another 80k over the hunters's price
Don’t listen to fools. Although speed 400 is an immense value for money bike but Hunter justifies its price tag too given the difference is almost 50% which is HUGE.
@@pranavpushkar68 I'm sticking with the hunter for now, but the suspension is bugging me, I'm looking for an aftermarket solution which will probably soften it up a bit(without scaping the engine belly)
@robertblak5790 I had booked Hunter earlier, canceled it for Speed 400,now canceled the booking of Speed 400 seeing the on road price. Hunter seems justifiable at this price point. That’s the problem,on one hand RE claims Hunter to be a city bike while giving unnecessarily stuff suspension for performance.
few negatives - pillion only good for kidsupto 5 feet, foot pegs could have been broader, silencer scraps in deep bumps 2up, could have been a bit higher, bar end mirrors should have been standard, hand grips not comfortable , cable wraps are plastiky- swap with trip machines leather ones- rear tyre hugger should have been an RE accessory. high beam should have been more bright even though yellow is fine, no LEDs needed. seat could have been a bit longer u.leg brake lever is oddly positioned for tall 6 feet riders as the ankle has to stretch more , handle bar raisers can improve more upright sitting, more silencer color options should be there like aluminium kind of finish mmudguard colors could have been silver like speed 400
If you are 6 feet why do you even have this bike, this will look like a toy for your stature. I totally agree on some points like rear tyre hugger, no pilion comfort for long rides, back suspension is bad af. Other than that I dont have other complaints. Clutch lever is very hard though, which becomes tiring to use in traffic after a while.
I took a test ride last week.handling is good but I am disappointed with its performance. Hunters engine dosent match with its handling and sporty nature.
@@DavidSenna57 ok mine is 17000 kms and not sure how many reached 30k in just 20 months of launch?? will see till now no change in performance check my night ride video taken yesterday
A suggestion.. If you are giving an opinion or suggestion of bike please stick to that. As viewer I want review of bike not nostalgic story of random matters
Please decide your expectation first from bike. Do you wish to use for going to office or college or wish to go to long drive on week end ? Answer is simple if city drive then go for hunter 350 If long drive then for meteor 350.
Mera hunter 2.20 lakh pada classic base model 2,42,000/- tha maine , galthi kar diya hunter lekhe , after 50km back hand sabh paining starts and pillow ka tho bc very very stiff
Please replace handle bar with handle bar of meteor 350. Further please understand every bike is made for some specifie purpose. You can't do everything will all bikes.
This is worst product from RE. Suspension sucks, riding position is very uncomfortable, foot pegs position is slightly awkward, Gear shifting is hard and seating comfort is not at all good. Overall its a half baked product from RE just to keep the pricing low. I sold my Hunter and booked Classic 350 couldn’t ride for more than 6 months not at all comfortable.
