Do you think the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is better than the Classic 350, or the latter is still the better RE to buy? Do let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
The hunter looks trendy and cool but the seating position is what made me decide for the Classic 350. It fits my laid-back, relaxed riding style. More like cruising than riding actually.
I am a smol 5’5 South East Asian guy. This is my first manual motorcycle. I have test ridden all the 350’s extensively and I chose the classic 350 for overall seating comfort during long-ish weekend rides. The Hunter looks like a snappy urban commute but it does not fit my riding needs. Soon, I will be upgrading tho.
Can you describe what in your test ride made you choose the Classic 350? I am in a similar position. I plan to buy one of these motorcycles as my first motorcycle at the beginning of August.
The Hunter is a looker and sounds great. Would be my choice. Two years ago I did choose the Triumph Trident 660 over the RE Interceptor. The RE is too heavy for the HP it has. The extra price was not the decider, but the weight.
I’m 26. Took a test ride of both these two weeks ago and went with the Classic. My second bike. Hunter exhaust sounds hollow, and the classic may look like a slow-mover, but that seating is comfy and the bike almost effortlessly sits at 60-70 kph in the city. The hunter might seem faster, but the classic has bigger wheels, upright ergonomics, and a better sounding exhaust. Anyway, that’s my two-cents. You do your test ride before buying. ✌🏼
As a 70+ year old I prefer the Hunter it's lighter and more practical 😉 Testing an.exhaust on the Hunter? It would be great if you could review a DNA AIR FILTER and perhaps the Fuel X light too many would be interested 😉
These are just different models RE is launching to scale its business and stay relevant to please its variety of target audiences. However, real RE lovers know the value of the original bullet which is irreplaceable.
The one thing most reviews miss is that the Hunter feels much lighter than it actually is. 14kg is not that much of a difference wrt to numbers. It feels much more lighter than that. I rode these 2 bikes on test ride and this fact is instantaneously noticeable.
I like the Classic, for stile and looks. One thing you left out is MPG and range per tank of gas, two very important things for us living in the country, and who to travel the back roads where gas stations are few and far. I want the Himalayan 450 and the classic in my stable. Just need a dealer hear on Prince Edward Island, Canada.
The crank cases on the classic will, just like the Interceptor and Continental oxidize if not regularly polished as will any polished alloy surface that isn't lacquered. The Hunters crankcases are anodised so it's not fair to compare them. The classics cases have oxidised due to poor maintenance 🙄
✔BikeWaLe=Wonderfull'Video But Missed Vikrant. =Owning Meteor+Hunter & Using Meteor For Tours+Highways & Using Hunter In City & This Time Planning To Take Hunter To Himachal & Uttarakhand For The First Time✔
wich of those it's better to travel with a companion ? which seat it´s more comfortable? wich it´s better to manouver in the city traffic? maybe the hunter?
Prior to watching this video, I had decided to buy classic 350. But after seeing this video, I am going for 350 hunter now. That’s a great relief you have provided @Suvil sir. Having been first time buyer I was under this conundrum as to which one I should choose. But that’s finally clear now. All thanks to you. I have just one question sir. I have a range of 2.5 lacs, under this price, which bike would be appropriate for me ? Please do tell me. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Yash Chauhan, Delhi.
Now THIS is review...Riden, tested and dirty. Love the fact that you have shown the age looked on classic's metal covers. Great video but i have to clarify... 8:15 that is not even 3000rpm on both bikes. First try not reaching 2000rpm and second throtle is not above 4000rpm.
I've a Classic 350 2017(11k done). Please suggest if I should move to the Hunter. Most of my commute is within the city(80%) I'll have to sell off the Classic and then book the new one)
I beg to differ regarding the central stand issue you've mentioned. Any normal adult, male or female would be able to put both the bikes on centre stand with ease, if the proper steps are followed.
Can u plz suggest me for my next step I bought 2017 model classic 350 for the cost of 1.33 lakh with 38km and I'm using bike from past 6 months. In these 6 months bike got some problems to repair By spending 23k nearly I repaired all that problems So even now also I'm not using bike with complete satisfaction by having rust issues and small small repairs So now can I go with hunter 350 or continue with my classic 350
Tomorrow you will ask why KHADAAU have been replaced by slippers and shoes Come on, it is 2024 Self start has been tried and tested across times My avenger cruise never had kickstarter, never failed to start even in winters. Think beyond your pond
@@himanshushekhar6680 that's a slight concern, but given a service range of 7000 kms not too big a concern if you're even around 200kms from a bigwing.
That one is a *LOOKER* nothing in this range comes close to the looks of that bike. Revs better, has better top end, has good low end, lighter. Just that its way too expensive for what its offering. Had it been even 5-10k more expensive than the Hunter I'd have probably gone for that. But no, its way too expensive.
