I have owned one since June, I absolutely love her. She will not break any records but easy to ride, comfortable, smooth (for a single) great fuel economy. I feel great every time I get on her. I also own a VFR 5th gen but my Enfield is my go to bike nowdays.. Given its limitations I have nothing bad to say about the bike for less than £4000 its crazy.
Mmm your complaint as to rev counter or a shift light suggest your a younger ride, as us older guys don't need em to ride an easy going, laid back bike like the meteor
My first bike is moto guzzi v7 with no rev counter. I havent found the lack of one to be much of a problem. That being said I would like to have one and I dont really undetstand the decision to omit.

The Meteor has got this green Eco indicator. If it is illuminated everething is fine. When it goes out you know it is time to change gears or the revs, whatever you prefer. That's all you need. No need for a rev indicator or a shift advisor.
Err no it doesn't, there is a small eco word on the lcd dash which is supposed to tell you when you are riding economical, but it's a bit hit and miss 😊
I'm from Colombia south America I own a Fire Ball red, is a very reliable bike, is a very easy motorcycle for beginners like me, is a little bit heavy but with practice you get use to it. Very good review, I like the way you narrate and the edition, btw my apologies if there is any grammar error/tipo.
I think I can handle oil change myself, but probably not valve adjustment. How much does an authorized dealer charge for oil change and valve adjustment - combined? Over $200 nowadays? Long-term ownership cost may be higher than Honda or Yamana...
As an update to the information in the video. I went back and looked at an owner’s manual and it recommends the adjustment every 6,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. Not sure what dealerships are charging for the service but it’s likely different from location to location. I would imagine you’re not too far off though. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for pointing this out! It is no longer a standard feature because of the chip shortage. But some markets still have bikes with them available like the one we're in.
Yes. The speedo is manually set using the "i” button on the left side of the handlebar. The tripper nav system uses the Royal Enfield app loaded on a phone or device to connect to GPS. Once connected, it updated the time. The 19:07 you saw was prior to me connecting it to my phone. The 11:54 is after it connected and was GPS updated. The 12:02 is whatever was set through the speedo menu likely during assembly. 🤷🤷🤷 Haha. Hope this helped settle your OCD. 😂
