I've had real trouble getting comfortable for long trips on my Himalayan. I ended up with getting the seat rebuilt with more foam but still after an hour I really have to get off for a good 10-15mins before resuming my journey. I've recently bought a used RE 350 classic and the previous owner has fitted a RE comfort seat. I have found this seat to be brilliant, been out on the bike all day today and not suffered with numb bum or any aches. Why don't they fit comfort seats as standard after all comfort is just as important as performance.
I can't get comfy on any bike! Damn ass goes numb after about an hour. Ruins my days out really. I've tried everything but still struggle. I'm at the point now of learning how to make my own custom seat so I can truly experiment with all different shapes and moulds.
Hi John i had one of these on my Himalayan now replaced by Meteor. I can't seem to find one large enough to cover the width of the Meteor seat could you advise the size you used and where you purchased it please, best regards Dave.
In the video I said that I had it given to me, it was a dual seat cover and I got a air of scissors to it and made it fit as best I could. However I have found that Cool Covers do sell them now www.coolcovers.co.uk/products/motorcycle-seat-covers/royal-enfield/
