Edward and Sophie have always been a strong formidable team, who have worked very hard in respecting the Queen in how they engage with the public, how they present themselves. They’ve often worked quietly without any fanfare, with many people not being aware of how much Edward actually does do. Too many people have thought that it’s only been since the Sussexes left that the Wessex’s stepped up, but that’s not true. The truth is the media simply began to promote them more. Sophie has always had a strong bond with her in-laws, Queen Elizabeth II + Prince Philip, and Edward and Sophie’s children, Lady Louise and Viscount Severn James have been stellar children all along. Watching the Wessex family leave Guillard Hall luncheon, it was sweet to see the four of them trying to decide who would travel with whom. Would it be mother + father, Sophie + Edward in a car together & the siblings following or Dad + daughter, Mom + son..or as they decided, dad + son, Edward & James and then mom + daughter, Sophie & Louise. I loved seeing James’s smile + little chatting moment + the chat between him + Louise, almost as though it was decided via RPS - Rock Paper Scissors game. Then when Louise and Sophie had established they’d be together in the second car, Louise gave her mom the sweetest affectionate rub on her back, and a shoulder hug. Such a gorgeous moment between the two.

And Prince Edward seems to be so demeaned in many observers eyes... for the lot he carries for his Mother throughout the years do not seem to be rewarded in the same hight...
The real working Senior Royals, they are all wonderful and so dedicated and loyal to the Queen..lovely to see them all, William and Catherine looked wonderful as did all of them ❤️ 👑🙏

And I think she is happy and proud of Princess Anne, her family, and Prince Edward and his family, and Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla. They All have done well for the Queen.
It's possible, that in the coming years, a different face of "her majesty" will show up. Keep in mind that the British Royal House is one of the most complicated, and controlled in the world. With traditions that don't always serve life, stifling love, and that "keeping up appearances" is developed to a very high standard. Just wait for it.

I love the queen and her family since British Guyana I was born the same year she was crowned 1953 June gifts was given to schoolchildren my elder sister received a tea 🍵 set with the Queen crowned picture and date of her Coronation with Royal Crest, I grew up and we still have that in our China cabinet in Canada. I always get up early to watch all the Royal events live on tv marriages jubilees and this one was very special, all the young generation look fantastic and doing a good job to support her. We all focus on either Prince Charles or William and their loved ones, but never forget Princesses Eugenia and Beatrice, Louise (she is looking more and more stylish, slender and beautiful), Anne and her family and Prince Edward. As many in this above group of Royals are quiet and never try and take any spotlight, we focus on what the camera sees. Let us not forget that all the above serve , love and respect the Queen immensely.

The family is closely knit with 2 mature and loving adults as parents and it clearly shows. Low key, no drama, hard working for the Queen and simply lovely people.

From what I have read, the family went to BP for lunch with the queen. The deceitful duo were not invited. So no invite to Guildhall or BP with the Queen. 😂😂😂 they cannot be trusted with private conversations or just normal behavior. They’ve been iced.
@@Gracekelley941 incorrect. The Montecito duo were indeed officially and formally invited to attend every event, with the exception of standing on the actual balcony. If they were only invited to the Thanksgiving Service, they wouldn’t have gone to the T of C, troop of colour, to stand in the Major Generals Office which just so happens to be the room that gives access to the balcony doors and windows. The reason they didn’t attend anything else, was they didn’t want to face mixed reception due to their clear deception. The Queen invited every member of the extended family to every event.

@@londoncalling151 1. I don't live in England. 2. I didn't know that Fergies daughter's worked on Royal duties. Since they fell off the radar after the divorce. 3. I didn't even know Prince Edward had kids. But not one of them will be able to do what HM has done. So I was surprised to see them doing something. If anything it's good to see the entire clan up there. Usually there is more when you compare other times the Royals took to the balcony.

I wish people would look up what he and Sophie have been doing all these years. They have both been very much active in their roles. They have over 150 patronages and have been running the Duke of Edinburgh awards for several years now.

I thought Lady Louise looked lovely today, with her hair loose. IMO, yesterday her outfit was nice but the hat made her look frumpy & much older than her years. She seems really lovely though. 👒 👒

I think Bea's italian Earl, very classy and dapper always, is giving his wife a restyling and finally teaching her what suits her best, and how not to ruin everything with a fascinator. Even her hair colour, a true Titian blonde, strawberry copper blonde, and her does recently have improved. Not so much for Eugenie... Well she married a waiter... Charles old pal Clooney gave the boy a better position, when she set eyes on him. I just like Genie's auburn hair, she was beautiful at her wedding. But Catherine outshines them all!
I read that it was on the Queen's suggestion that if William led the services then Catherine should wear something brighter than usual. Then as usual, it was spot on elegant.

All the Royal women have pulled out all the stops on their beautiful outfits these past two days. The Queen can be very proud of her family. Loved seeing her on the balcony with the Duke of Kent, she doesn’t have too many in her family that have a lot of the same old memories.

A little while ago, when HM met H (and M wasn't allowed in to see her), H was told that there will not be any public closeness with working royals, no standing next to each other in case of paps/Netflix. They will be fabricating their puff pieces now.
