Royal Artillery. Series of title frames w/o footage. Then CU Drill leader shouting orders. Men march in yard. CU more shouting. More marching. Pan on troops standing; to CU giving lesson in field gun (very clean!). 3 horses make quick stop from a gallop. Several teams of horses pulling guns across park. Troops set up guns; other teams of horses bring caissons w/ shells. Then masses of horse artillery ride off to left; like making advance.
LS artillery charge toward camera; from distance. Artillery ride through arch in brick building into courtyard. Form row; dismount. CU soldier checking tack (bridle; saddle strap; etc). Men lead horses to water trough. Truck bringing new double barrelled field gun. Stops next to another w/ same sort of gun. Men unload guns. MS swivelling gun on base. CU soldier looks through sights.
MS team learns loading gun. Packing up truck quickly ? MS gun carriage; team drill at setting up gun w/ speed; big building in BG. Closer shot loading gun; adjusting angle. pulling string Horse artillery on road in line 1 team wide. Next; a team approaching cam; turning right off muddy road; w/ long gun. Men setting up gun. Pan on area; others doing same in BG. Again; munitions dropped off by another horse team. LS guns firing. Crew drops to ground as their gun fires; crouch behind markers. Moving guns to rt. men run after; Finally; pan on men posing sitting on guns. Military; weapons.
