@@xscorpio290 kumar is a legend but I think virat and rohit can beat kumars record of 4 consecutive centuries look at kohlis stats now he can easily beat the amount of runs kumar has got. Also if he plays as long as sachin for 24 years(which is not gonna happen)he can beat even Sachins record

@@sivabalasundarampitchadana7290 Well even with the 5 not consecutive centuries Rohits avg was 80 (he played many 100s because teams played alot of matches in 2019WC compared to 2015WC) But Sangas avg was 108 with a strike rate of 105 but yeah records are meant to be broken , and donno bout Rohit but KOhli is surely gonna beat Sachins records he is already closing in with an avg of close to 60 and he won't even need 24 years he will break Sachins records with lesser matches and to top that he is fit so even after breaking Sachins record he will still play more

I guess he had other plans. He had already created a big name for himself and if beating sachins record meant a lot for him he wud have Continued. Now he is a big businessman in sri Lanka. I think he wanted to move into business. The unique abt him is that he studied well. Unlike other cricketers in the cricket team who barely focused on studies but fully on cricket. He is also a lawyer and he got a law degree before he joined the cricket team.

@@pranaymogare no he is not on weed. Sanga def had a chance if he played a bit longer. Not to forget he joined the team at 22, so in a shorter period of time he was able to get close, had he played a bit longer he cud have beaten it.

What impresses me more is how this guy is also well educated. Many cricketers (atleast in the Sri lankan cricket team) are not well educated as they focused on cricket and not studies. This man passed the AL's with excellent results and got a law degree before he joined the cricket team and he did all this while playing cricket. He is now a big businessman as well.

Sangakara was a master class cricketer, not only the batting also his keeping and his game plan. He is educated enough to go through all barriers. During the good and the bad times of the game, with the best teams in the world also with the best bowling attack he stood rock solid for the team and the country. Bless him and his family a bright and healthy future.

Sanga has been the greatest wicketkeeper batsman of the game. His unparalleled ODI and Test career are evidences for it. Gilly sure revolutionised the role of a wicket keeper. MSD is the greatest wicketkeeper captain. The way he reads the game is just amazing.

The ECB RU-vid channel made a mistake in their description for this video: "...milestone of 100 first class hundreds..." 1. Sangakkara did not score 100 first class hundreds. He scored 100 combined between FC and LA. 2. Even if he did, it wasn't in this match, because this is a List A match.

Sangakkara from my country! He was a talented player. But I personally believe he retired too early!! Normally players lost their eye sight and timing after 35 years. But he didn't!! His last world cup tournement he scored 4 consecutive tons. Mindblowing!!!!! Sangakkara has 11 double tons in test cricket format. Bradman has 12 double tons. If Sangakkara wasn't retired too early, he could able to achive that milestones so easily! Guys another thing I'm not joking. He missed two double tons in 190s and one of them was a misjudgment of the umpire🥴
