It is when you get orchestral covers of songs like this that you can appreciate the brilliance in the song writing of the original songs.

On the way home from school I was imagining what it would be like if abba was played by a whole orchestra. I am not disappointed.

This is by far the best orchestral interpretation of popular music that I have ever heard. Just wonderful. My favorite part is 10:35 where the notes just soar into brilliance.

This makes me so emotional, my grandfather who passed away would always play ABBA music and take me to see the musical🥺 He was obsessed and now I'm obsessed, I wish I could tell him that.

This is one of the times I wished I could actually see them playing these ABBA pieces, they must have had so much fun.

Just shows the genius of Benny Andersson! Bravo Benny! Bravi RHP! Fabulous music affords fabulous arrangements. Benny always composed with a leaning towards classical music. Love this!!! Thank you for the music!!!!

"Money, Money, Money" becomes properly majestic here.

This is not just an ABBA legacy, but also a family's heritage, for me. Hearing this masterpiece since I was 2, it gives me chills now, that I am 27. It remembers all of my childhood, singing the songs with my eldest sister, while our parents were out, to work in the fields. Me and my sister had so many dreams, expecting to change de world. That part in 40:51 till 45:37 always makes me cry. It is a true heritage for me, because me and my sister we had a dream. :-)

Abba tracks, like those of the Beatles and Queen, (also covered by the best Philharmonic orchestra in the world) transfer effortlessly to classical....no surprise really when you know how technologically composed their songs, chords and melodies were. This compilation is just first class entettnament indeed!
