Royal Princess Top Ten Things We Liked | Alaskan Cruise | Inside Passage 

Booked this for next year. We are going on R.P. because it is going to BOTH Glacier Bay and Skagway, which is hard to find.

That’s interesting about the temperature inside the ship. I’ve been on three Alaska cruises with Princess and we’ve never had that problem before. Maybe there was something wrong with the system, who knows

There was a decently large family of Dall's Sheep on the mountain side above Juneau - sort of near the three big ice formations at the very top! It was a pleasure being your Ship Naturalist on the Royal Princess!

I really enjoyed your video. We are taking the same cruise at the end of August. This is our second cruise in 14 years and that one was also Alaska. I was disappointed to hear about the temperature being hot on the ship. My husband always runs hot and he will not be happy about that. Did you mention it to guest services? Are you going to do a video on any excursions you took? Thanks again.

Going on this same cruise September 2nd our first cruise ever! This was very helpful!! Interesting to hear that y'all liked the Symphony dining room. Did you ever eat in the other 2 MDR's? Sure hope they have the heat figured out by then or we'll be sleeping with our balcony door open!

I am traveling on Royal Princess next May, I am blind, and I am traveling with my guide dog. Just us do you have any insight as to how they handle individuals with disabilities at the port, from what I’m hearing the chaos situation has been going on for quite a while in Seattle now that I’ve been listening to RU-vid videos.I was wondering if you had some insight for me did you see them people with disabilities or did they all have to wait in those massive lines?

What were the live bands like? Were they playing danceable music?

I believe the embarkation and disembarkation issues are caused by the port of Seattle personnel.

For your embark - were you in the green lane status? Or did you have to show docs there?

What are the names of the MDR's. We are first time Princess Cruisers and Senior Citizens, all of this online things are challenging to us 🧐🙃😀

I'll be on royal princess next year and I hope that a/c is working - I hate being hot. I can't sleep hot. the worst disembarkation I think I've had was port canaveral with NCL - they got us off the ship too early and long long lines in a warehouse to pick up our luggage and no air- so hot and this was early May - and t hen narrow aisles with luggage stacked 3 levels hight on shelves - saw so many a lmost get hit with someone grabbing luggage and swinging it down and total chaos. MSC out of brooklyn cruise terminal was chaotic as well - people saying differnt things then had everyone sitting in one huge area watching the doors open to go aboard- lik ea stampede and rude employees though not sure if msc or the port itself. Princess does boarding the best - they had us sit in groups away from the main door and came and got us and so much smoother.

Where did 13 of you stay in Seattle for overnight accommodations please? There will be 10 of us.

I found alfredos and sabatinis food was not that good (i am a chef).......crown grill on the other hand was excellent.......service was excellent all around.......on our land portion we got shots of denali ( we were told that less than 30 percent actually ever see it due to clouds) .......glacier bay was awesome until a medical emergency and ship had to turn around.......the helicopter ride up to the glacier was second to none......we seen all the wildlife, whales, seals, otters, bears, mountail goats, caribou...........the river boat tour was awesome

Unfortunately, there has been a change with access to Alfredo's. It is now a $14.99 surcharge for a three course meal, or priced ala carte. The Princess Plus plan will include 2 "casual" dining meals per voyage. The Premier Plan allows for unlimited included dining at Alfredo's and the other spots deemed Casual dining.
