As long as educational and academic institutions employ no other language than "Argot" and seek to enrol new researchers familiar with it and its alternatives, then no consistent or reliable progress will be made into intellectual inquiry. Correct this error then all else will naturally follow.
There may be a difference between a dictionary definition or description and the one I use. The quality of language has been on the decline for the past four decades or more. Ironically, as the powerful influence of "Argot" which itself has lost all of its original meaning and denotation affects common usage of language and subsequently subverts it. My use of the term is the language of misery which is a global linguistic anomaly adopted by the entire globe and has nothing in common with general perception of language, dialect and is not affected by institutions such as class. The language of misery or "Argot" is the language, not of profound existential enquiry but of mere acquisition. Argot drives and directs the desire for social advancement, prestige and wealth. It also forces the lower classes to define themselves by want and suffering. examples include the following: I want that What do I have to do to get it what will happen if I don't get it Where did I go (for example, on holiday) what do I like and not like (what makes me feel good and bad is, attraction and aversion) This list is by no means exhaustive, just a few examples which effectively drive all human affairs, which is not a criticism but an explanation of how the authentic human has suffered corruption at the hands of institutionalization. Admittedly given the benefits of industrialization it was largely unavoidable. But the symptoms with respect to the human condition nonetheless, persists.
