मेरे द्वारा उपयोग की गई विधि में कुछ भी गलत है?

@@rideatease ऊपर के डोम बोल्ट टाइट करने से पहले सस्पेंशन को compress कर के डोम बोल्ट को tight किया जाता है। fork oil का मुख्य काम spring के द्वारा उत्पन्न की गई kinetic energy को heat एनर्जी में convert करना है और अगर फोर्क में air होगा तो foam(झाग) उत्पन्न होगा और shockabsorber ठीक से काम नही करेगा, क्योंकि Gas compress हो गाता है लेकिन liquid नही। आपको शायद पता हो इन fork suspension को hydraulic या liquid charged suspension भी बोल जाता है ना कि numatic suspension। Fork में सिर्फ फोर्क आयल का ही इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए क्योंकि fork आयल में antifoaming additive होते है और साथ ही ऐसे lubricant additive होते हैं जो rubber oil seals को जल्दी खराब न करे। Fork oil अलग-अलग weight grade (7W, 10W, 15W, 20W) में मिलते है । bullet जैसी भारी बाइक के लिए Mineral based 20W fork oil या synthatic based 15w आयल उचित रहता है। fork में oil का quantity fix नही रहता है , आप अपने comfort(Hard or Soft) के हिसाब से oil के standard quantity को कम या ज्यादा कर सकते है।

yeah, that is correct. This technique is only for the old Cast Iron engine models !

In old bike....... Use castrol 20w50....... And use 200ml for each fork.....

overall it should be 200 ml (so you can go for an equal ratio 100 ml fork oil and 100 ml engine oil)

usually its recommended to change fork oil when you change engine and clutch oil (let's say after 4-5k km)

@@rideatease cost of changing fork coil, can u mention..

That's correct, only if the fork oil seal is broken you need to remove the whole thing. Just for an oil change this is pretty much it.

@@rideatease this is the case for old models. How is it in the new uce models??

@@karthiksubramani4102 in the UCE we need to remove the whole skocks separately and change the oil (easy for the cast iron/old model and time consuming for the UCE ones)

@@karthiksubramani4102 if I am correct, it totally depends on the models. Changing oil in "std bullet or electra UCE" are pretty easy just by removing the top plug and drain plug. But in case of classic UCE the whole fork has to be removed.
