Not only that, realising that her own attempts to become the owner of her own films and documentaries which were inconsistent and full of outright lies and contradictions she decided that even though she could never aspire to be queen of England and the common wealth that she could try to get to be President of the United States of America. Harry should have taken William's advice seriously. William took the time to understand Catherine and gradually introduced her to Royal Life, which she embraced thanks to William's patient guidance and support from the late Queen and Prince Philip, as well as from Sophie and Princess Anne. Unfortunately, Harry rushed into marrying Meghan and was so deeply in love that he failed to realize he lacked sufficient knowledge about Royal Protocols to inform Meghan about the strict rules they had to follow. Meghan, in her own arrogance, believed she knew better than the Queen and attempted to modernize the Royals into the 21st Century. However, both Meghan and Harry repeatedly undermined themselves with constant complaints and grievances over perceived slights against them. Their own actions and the lies they told have come back to haunt them.
I don’t think mm had any conscious agenda to “modernize” the Monarchy. She simply has contempt for it, probably because she couldn’t come up to its shoe tops. The fact that the age old, finely crafted jewel of Britain, the Monarchy, didn’t budge infuriated her. “Tear anything down, that does not elevate me to the top!” is her hue and cry everywhere. She even told her father to stop having a relationship with his other children. His refusal is one of the reasons he is being punished now. The utterly blind mm, and her equally blind mother, Doria, know only one end game. Frightening, and tragic.

He wanted to be loved so much, I think he was scared to be heartbroken as much as when Chelsea left him. Megan knew that, so she used him big time. If he comes back home, I hope he will go to the military. He will need time to think and to make things right.

I would WISH for Harry, that he could GET RID of that awful woman...!!! @@JimWeir-h4f He certainly has that right and it might have been justified, or not. What we don't know is how much pressure she put on him to make that decision or exactly why? We all look at this from our own view. I think she is a very pretty lady and could see him willing to do what he did. What turned many off of them, myself included, is the constant whining about how bad they have it. Neither are entitled to the victimhood they have been claiming for years.

This was no fairytale - a cynical move by a manipulative actress who had probably gone as far as she was going to in her "career" and knew it - she was faced with being almost 40 years old and therefore no longer marketable in Hollywood (she is no Glenn Close or Meryl Streep ). She had no understanding of the way our ROyal Family works - she thought she could be Diana Mark 11 - and I think Harry thought much the same and was enraptured by the thought. In face, Diana was a humble soul who did the behind the scenes unglamorous royal work - whereas Meghan thought she could waft around in a tiara and ballgown, attending State Dinners as numero uno, and make the odd "worthy" comment about race, being a woman, etc etc. She was always an empty person. Zero relationship with her own family and now has managed to manipulate Harry's poor mental health and self esteem into a tool to try to destroy his own family. Harry, if only you had continued your excellent work with Invictus and servicemen and found a way to come to terms with your childhood loss you may have found peace and entered a relationship on a level equal basis (you are not the only child who has tragically lost a parent but you did have the resources to get professional help - unlike some parent-less children who are penniless and homeless or caring for siblings).

I'm not surprised if this is true. I've always said that if a union begins with complications and strife, it will end with complications and strife. She clearly lied to him from the very beginning about growing up in a hard life when she went to a private school and was well taken care of by both parents. She lied about not knowing who he was when she owned a book about Diana. And she stepped on those that helped her get introduced to him, because they knew her well enough that she knew they could destroy her. I do believe he was in love with her, and that's why he risked leaving EVERYTHING FOR HER. But I believe that now that he's been separated from his family, he's been able to see it wasn't them causing the strife, it was her all along. She's a narcissist, and he realizes now that he needs time away from her toxicity. But she will not make it in Hollywood anymore, because she was never a good actress, and she has created too much scandal for anyone to want to deal with. SMH

Allegedly he found out she slept with a bodyguard the night he stayed at Balmoral after the death of The Queen. Those were the rumours flying around and that he walked out on her as soon as they returned home.
They never should have married in the first place. They are severely mismatched. And Harry showed tremendous disrespect for his family and his country.
They would be better off, especially Harry, without each other. If love ever truly existed between them, it is gone, and what they have now is a business relationship that is also sour. A shame for Harry that ridding himself of Meghan will never erase how he's intentionally disrespected and attacked his family, especially his grandparents and his father and brother, and soiled and stained the legacy of the brothers' mother, Diana. Their actions cannot be undone or forgotten. No sympathy here for either of them.
