Royalton Riviera Cancun Presidential Suite with Ocean View

@@nicoleboucicaut5509 & @Samantha Kabbouchi I booked the Presidential Suite Oceanview for my wedding next October. I want to make sure I have a room with the rooftop as well. Congratulations and Happy Wedding Planning ladies!

Once you book the room you can go through their website and select your room. If you are in the presidential suite on the top floor (4th floor is the top) you will have the rooftop patio. I knew that I want I high floor overlooking the ocean. Didn't want to look at bushes or the pool.

@@kayladeveau2984 once booked, you can go to this link: www1.royaltonresorts.com/OnlineRoomSelection/en-CA/HID/Search/Search it will allow you to choose the room in your "class" that is available. I just went to do mine and unfortunately, they only have two rooms left on the 3rd floor not the 4th. So, no roof top for us.

@@stroudan I booked this room specifically cause it was available, you would have to ask the resort which other rooms come like this cause I don’t know. You will have to pay a $100 reservation fee. I go in September.

No, this suite was in the Diamond Club Section. Bldg 6.

@@premiercruisegear8562 THANK YOU - so strange, we booked 1BR presidential OV with rooftop jacuzzi and they are telling me I can't get diamond club - that it is not an option..? Please tell me your room number again and I will call and see if I can reserve as your room is exactly what we are looking for. Thank you.

@@karenmiller7747 It was 6406. They might not be offering Diamond Club because of Covid because the perks for Diamond Club were not open or offered. The only "perk" we got was access to the Diamond Club pool but frankly anyone could have gone there it was so slow everywhere. IF I had known ahead of time that the Diamond Club Lounge, Casino, priority check in and other Diamond Club amenities were not available, I would have changed my room. But the Presidential Suite with Rooftop jacuzzi is beautiful and well worth the extra money in my opinion.

@@premierawards3406 This was the same question I had. I am looking right now and they don't have this particular room offered for the Diamond Club, but have others. This is the room I want. If it is not Diamond Club, does it still come with the bottles of liquor, wine and champagne, is this complimentary? Also, are the mini bars and the liquor dispensers complimentary? If so, is that with or without Diamond Club and can you choose which liquor you want? Sorry for all the questions, your video is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. THANK YOU

@@classiladi84 This room, 6406, was in the Diamond Club. We got two bottles of liquor, not sure if more were available but we choose two. It is not in your room automatically, you have to ask your butler for it once you check in. They give you an option for the liquor. He did ask several times during the week if we needed more. The wine and bottle of champagne were in the room when we checked in. Due to Covid, the dispenser was there, just not stocked, they said it was due to safety reasons. This room had 2 mini bars and they were restocked daily. If you need more through out the day, just contact your butler or room service. Everybody was very accommodating. Things might get back to normal once Covid is over, but this was a very nice resort none the less. Hopes this helps.

Yes, we had the Diamond Club. However, since Covid was still a factor and the resort was not up to full speed or occupancy, some of the Diamond Club features were not available. No priority check in, no Diamond Club lounge, some restaurants not open for dinner etc... still a great place!

Should I downgrade from the diamond club to a regular room?

@@Taylorgame032010 Depends on when you are going....The only "perk" we got from the Diamond Club during our stay was the Diamond Club Pool. We used it for 2 days and then decided we wanted to go to the Family pool which was a little more lively for the remaining 6 days. But honestly, as slow as they were, they didn't seem to care who went where.
