There is simply more diversity and range of skill displayed by both Royce and Los than Thought on Flex. We can argue all day long about the content of the lyrics, but Thought stuck to only one style of delivery of his bars throughout his entire freestyle. Were they fire, yes, that’s why i claim it as 3rd greatest Freestyle ever spit in Hip Hop History. But, Royce and Los were absolutely flexing their range of talent on their respective LA Leakers Freestyles. Example: The Shannon Sharp talking to Skip Bayless gunplay metaphor is a style of delivery I’ve never even seen anywhere else. Besides, maybe, a Smack Hosted Battle Rap.
