As a dancer myself, I got my whole life in that infamous pool party dance contest scene. Royce DID that before “doing that” was a thing! I felt that the others were hating on her for having, what they viewed as, the audacity to be this cute, little brown skinned girl wearing her real hair and no designer labels and to get up on that stage and command the attention of everyone in attendance the way she did. For the ladies to tell her that her dancing “wasn’t a good look” while at least one of them already had a reputation for “allegedly” sleeping with married men is beyond hypocritical and ridiculous. Those ladies felt that people who looked and dressed like Royce couldn’t sit with them but Royce showed that she didn’t WANT to sit with them and they didn’t like that. I’ve always admired Royce for standing up to them and not behaving like Sycophant Susie who seemed willing to lick the bottom of their high heels in order to be “in”. Great interview…looking forward to part 2.

I’m also a dancer and she rocked it! I don’t see the issue. I never understood the shock and awe. And the message that those other ladies were sending, suggesting that girls who are not into fashion are beneath them, was pretty disgusting. Felt more like jealousy and hating to me.

What's crazy is Evelyn tried to dog Royce and call her garden tool for dancing at a party and having a baby by a player. Yet, Ev has continued to hop from league to league for men and their wallets, and pat her 😺 on national TV at 40+. SMH. I always liked Royce because she didn't back down from them. I realize that the majority in society doesn’t like authenticity. Royce from the beginning was always down to earth and transparent but majority of the viewers was drawn to Evelyn with her mean girl façade and superficial personality which is so sad. This interview was a breath of fresh air because Royce never changed because she was always true to herself and never felt the need to seek validation. It sucks that it took so many years for people to realize that she was telling the truth all along. Great interview I can’t wait for Part 2 🔥

Royce is SO relatable I never knew these things about her but I knew I liked her for reasons I didn't know were there. Her early life/college experience is too common. Not being allowed to date and being thrown out into the unknown is such a set up but parents love doing it to their daughters. Love her honesty.

When I tell you, this girl has always been genuine from day 1! She was real & also fun to watch. I really missed seeing her & hated about all the drama/trauma from her coparenting situation. Royce represents those bright-eyed, high energy, and gregarious black girls who are looked at like they’re doing too much! Royce was always super genuine & the natural life of the party. I’m glad that she never backed down to those mean girls. Royce was definitely the most educated and accomplished of her BW peers.

Shaunie, Evelyn, Jen, and others on this show were always and still are bullies. She is now a preachers wife, bit she still has the mean girl, entitled disposition, just like her cronies Evelyn and Jennifer. Ive always seen that and women like them are dangerous. They play im your face as friends but are actually enemies of a woman's self worth, self esteem, and well-being. Royse isn't innocent by any means, but she has always been truthful within the confines of gag orders and other discernment boundaries. Basketball Wives can disappear because they are truly not meant to be positive, but only entertainment. They make you have to defend yourself against the the things they are hypocritical of.

I love Royce we’re both from Orlando and sadly I got a chance to be around her with the passing of our mutual friend last year. And I have to say she is one of the sweetest most down-to-earth people. Sadly, Evelyn is still the same. I am so proud of Royce and where she is in her life today. I once plucked a bully in the neck and got arrested. I was very young and new to the state coming from Brooklyn New York. I allowed two people to bully me until I was fed up. I didn't go to jail but I did get arrested. They left me alone after that.

I believed every word she said in the interview so far. Shaunie loyalty was to Evelyn. Even now with her making her First Lady appearances on the show and pretending to be quiet. She was always fake and will continue to be fake. She loved the other girls business just to go back and tote it to Evelyn. Royce was the lead on that show but they gave it to Shaunie because of Shaq even though he treated her like a no body. It’s sad. I’m glad Carlos got her to come on the show and speak her truth.

Thank goodness for the Royce comeback. I use to scream at my Tv like let me be on the show to have her back. I never liked bullies and I will always stand with the underdog.
