Royce's solo flight 

What a beautiful video! It demonstrates that we shouldn't defer the fulfilment of our dreams for ever. Helluva pretty aircraft, too!

Back in the 50s we proved that with perfect conditions we could train a person to fly this plane with a relatively short demonstration. They would still by means be qualified to fly solo. That would come only after normal training.
