Without further adieu, I present to you my first RP LAW EB01 strategy video. Here I go through my main Deck List that I've used since the new set dropped. I have seen lots and lots of success with this in live matches and on SIM, so please take all of this free info. It's my gift to you all. Use it to strengthen your own versions of RP Law so you can hopefully win some tournaments like I have been!!

I just got i to this game, my first purchase was the three captains deck and immediately fell in love with how this plays. Truly it reminds me of Boomer Jund from magic the gathering. I know people are gonna just figure that i play for the tiers but it was the first deck i wanted to make even before kmowing anything about this game and I'm happy a value mid-range deck like this is playable

Ths kid killer interaction its like the blue 2c 3k sanji in the zoro sanji deck. That gains +2k after he attacks until the start of you next turn. You leader set it to active and can gain another +2k atk. Really cool

Awesome man, good luck! RP has some amazing matchups in the meta today, just pray you don't get matched up with any Sakazuki players lol. If you do tho, just focus on early aggression and swinging as many 5k attacks as you can.

Played r/p law. I lost and asked how i could improve. You said i attacked into life when i didnt need to in the endgame, and i shouldve waited one more turn and go for lethal. And that me giving you life cards meant you might get a rush Zoro. Good lesson!

@@AudiSyarief Ah, yup I do remember! Yeah OPTCG is like a 4D chess match man, you gotta know when to pick your moments to attack. Especially with RP Law, where we already play on the edge of life and death.

Yw bro, Enel is toughhhhh to beat. But if you walk into the match with an actual gameplan instead of blindly swinging at him, the game feels so much better and in your control. Enel wants to be at one life so he can 1. Yamato heal, and 2. Raido KO your characters for free. So denying him that makes him feel immense pressure.

Love to hear it ! RP law was my first deck as well. No immediate plans on a RG Law build since he's getting more support next set, so I'll prob highlight him in OP07

Also it’s a nit pick I know but please I play your video out loud usually while I’m working or with headphones on at home Plzz either maybe mute when you drink or cut the audio in the post editing lol if possible if not then hey at least I ask XD

I'm in love with this deck and playing it a lot, would you recommend it for a starter player? I'm planning on building it (waiting on EB01 prices to go a bit lower), kinda afraid about the cost but at the same time all the decks in this game (idk about other tcgs) are expensive

Awesome, the deck is super fun to play. Honestly, I don't think the prices will be dropping any time soon. Mainly because RP law gets even more support in OP07, so It will get more popular. I do recommend it for a starter player, It was the first deck I ever bought/played.

Do you typically prefer going first or second? When you go second, what’s your top 2 plays without Ain? I’ve typically been going 2nd and prioritize Ain turn 2. Thanks in advance!

I prefer to go 1st in every single matchup, besides Sakazuki. Sakazuki needs to go 2nd, so I take that away from him any time I can. I go first because the 1 3 5 curve is way better imo than the ain ramp to 5 don. 1 Don play (Gordon/Max), 3 don play (zoro, shuraiya, Chopper, or swing 5 with Gordon/Max), 5 don play, Kid into shambles on a searcher (or bigger body if Gordon sticks from 1st turn) bring in Reiju, draw two cards. if you hit that perfect 1 3 5 curve, it devastates your opponent.

I"m new, still learning, can you explain: at 34:30, after you use leader effect and go to 0 don, the next turn you get back to 4 don. Shouldn't you only have drawn 2 don? Was there another effect active?

Great looking list. Without the extra card draw from queens, I think you're ratios are looking good. Maybe add in a 3rd bepo for 1 of the choppers. But other than that, looks solid G !

I'm playing my first tournament end of next month and I'm short 1 Bon Clay... What would you use to fill the void? I'm considering Promo Law or another Queen

I'd have to see your decklist to make a better suggestion, but I think 3 queens is the magic number for this set, 4 feels too many. An extra Promo Law wouldn't hurt. Ain is a great replacement for Bon Clay, it's what I currently use as a placeholder until I hunt down my own Bon Clays

@@brownwoodzTCG so my deck is literally the same as yours so far short by 1 Bon Clay and I thought one Ain would be a bit rogue but does have a Don ramp effect but then an extra Law gives down cost

Can you use Jean Bart instead of Ain? It's a lil harder to activate but it has counter

you could, but it would very hard to activate, you would have to play Jean at your 5 don turn , and Kid / Queen are way better options on 5 don

I would try and keep the ratio even with power reduction. Fire fist is pretty decent. Ran Round Table for Zoro (9cost green). Less ideal than a body but unless you run Fiesta the film tag does not matter on the gordon.

I would add a 4th Queen, you want as many card draw as possible to make up for the fact that you do not have the Gordons. Buena Festa is good to help you in a pinch to search for the Max's. Round Table, Gamma Knife, FireFist, 7 cost Ace, and 5-cost Red Zoro are some different options you can experiment with.

There's definetly some alternate cards you can use, I have a whole set of substitution options for this deck too. Working on a video for that. But in the meantime, for a Gordon Replacement, you can try the new EB01 Chopper, Gamma Knife, FireFist, Round Table, 7cost Ace, or 4 cost Red Brook.

@@teslamachine Sakazuki has never been a problem for me, gecko either. Law has given me more issue than any one of these other leaders. Not to mention it's ridiculously expensive. We don't want to see a game going in the direction of favoring ridiculously expensive decks for easy wins. Then the format meta just goes into pay to win.
