This video has been the most helpful in getting fights to work the way I intend. Thank you!

Once again, thanking you for all these great tutorials. Two thumbs up! You're really doing a great job and a great service! And yes, I have watched all these videos! I find that even though I already understand the concepts prior to watching many videos there is always a little tidbit I might have not known. or simply forgotten.

Ahh, heh that's a pretty creative way of doing it. I always try to find workarounds that don't involve scripting like this. Er, however, after a fair amount of research I (just like an hour ago) ended up finding a way to self inflict states that works with a lot less headache. In the skill's battle formula, if you just enter "a.addState(stateID); rest of battle formula", it'll give the state to the user. But thanks for the cool workaround!~

That's cool and all, but I have no idea what stateID is. I'm trying to get one of my actors to have a skill that buff them afterwards with a state.

Im trying to add MP Regeneration to a Ice spell, i have the State set up, i just need to be able to use the spell while adding the state to the caster. Would this work on the PCs?

How can i make it so when i do a skill it adds a state to myself and does damage to the enamie without adding the state to them?

+danielvutran It is. I'm using sort of a wierd mic setup. I have a condensor mic and a dynamic mic for stereo. I'm thinking about recording the audio separate from the video if it gets too bothersome.

hmm ok because I thought maybe the mic was just to your left and you weren't talking through the middle of it haha xD, it's not a huge deal but it is a tiny bit cumbersome x]
