I love that server hack-map, but I also can't help but laugh at the full 180 on that.. Back when Shadowrun and Cyberpunk 2013 had come out, they had similar hacking systems, where essentially the hacker did their own dungeon crawl as a side mini-game.. but back then, it was *HORRIBLY* designed, and took *FOREVER* to run through. Running into a computer in the middle of a run meant that the game came to a grinding halt for 2-4h while the DM and hacker played their own game, or, if you were in combat, every time the hacker's turn comes around, they run two turns/rounds in the computer before we jump back to the people fighting combat.. They were both horribly clunky, but I always kind of liked how the hacking in both of those systems almost felt like a solo/1-on-1 dungeon crawl without the fantasy tropes, it just sucked that it could completely kill a session.. I love how it looks in this book, though, as something that's a LOT quicker to run through.. but that's just an "in general" thing; hacking in those early cyberpunk RPGs really was like an entirely separate game written by people who didn't know *anything* about computers, but loooooooved dungeon crawling 🤣🤣

Agree with the hacker map analysis. A great zone would be hacking maps

I'm glad your recent CY_BORG video got me looking at other videos you did for the game, because I just ordered this in physical format based solely on that hacking map. I'm going to make a TON of these. The adventure also looks fun.
