Born and raised in the Bronx and I'm proud to say two things one that I've never heard this story and two ever since I was a kid I was told to NEVER under any circumstances go to River Park Towers so hearing about this doesn't surprise me.
Slight correction: Yonkers isnt a suburb of the Bronx, its a seperate CITY north of the Bronx, with its own good and bad areas. Infact, Yonkers is involved with this whole beef too, theres hella gangs in Yonkers, especially Bloods. Rappers include Mula Gzz, Velly Vellz, and Ant Balla
I was confused on that best I thought it was in Westchester and he called it the suburbs and I only went there the 2 times idk if there are ghettos there.
@@guccixlion6233 Yonkers/Y.O definitely has gettos/hoods. It's a small city with in new york state in westchester county and has block gangs & bigger groups like bloods, crips Latin King's, trinitaiors, has drugs murder ect in that city as well. Some people think its part of the bronx because its so close but it's it's own city.
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏾 Prayers out for those trying to recover from the passing of their loved ones 🕊️ Prayers out for those in the conflict and around it 🕊️
13:55 That’s not Ty Benji thats Jay Benji who’s Edot Baby cousin, Ty Benji was a Gorilla Stone Blood from Mckinely Houses. Jay Benji was trying to rob a drug dealer and was murdered because of it. RPT didn’t kill him. Good video overall, but OYOGZ VS YGZ doesn’t really have that many deaths behind it, only Woo Lotti, a more in depth video would’ve been OYOGZ VS DOA VS DRILLYGZLY(linkup between drillyz and ygz). And RPT isn’t the most wild YGZ set, it’s 800 YGZ(RAH GZ SET). They have multiple bodies.
As a native NY’er I’m glad you point out the statistical error many people make. NY is very safe!! Unless you’re in areas like east New York, south Bronx, etc… those areas are much more dangerous than most hoods in America. When you throw these small areas in the mix with over 8 million people the fact that it even makes a splash in the statistics should say it all.
not anymore..Just look at the local news bro..It is crazy out here. You can count the whole 8 mil.lol.much more dangerous neighborhoods where?I have been to many different areas in America.Aint no difference. You clearly dont live here anymore because then, you would know..
@@elliot2177 I still live here and I’m well aware that Crime has skyrocketed the past the 2 years. You’re dead wrong if you think New York’s hoods are comparable to most “ hoods” in America. What makes the bad areas of NY so unique (same problem in Chicago) is the massive numbers of people condensed into a small area. That is unique to very large cities
@@vaden706 ok,then. So that safest city in america is bullshit..You should know that. What hood are you talking about?I have been to alot of different citites.Learn the rate over actual crime.A smaller city will have a higher rate but it does not mean it is more dangerous.lol.The whole 8.5 pop is not bad so, you cant compare that to a city with 1 mill.lol.Makes no sense..
@@vaden706 Rates has nothing over actual amount of crime. If you live here, you would know that there were 6 murders in 6 hours last week.I am quite sure there wasnt 6 murders in 6 hours in most of the cities in America..
River Park Towers is not a housing project and it has 4 buildings not 2. The people make it seem like the projects but its not own by NYCHA. Its privately owned
Bruh you didnt even mention Kay Flock🤦🏽♂️ thats the craziest part about the whole story him and Dthang are blood cousins and theyre beefing and Kay Flock is on trial for murder rn.
You tried to be smart! But it didn't work. Where I'm from gangsters and real bangers, ain't robbing and killing taxi drivers🤣🤣🤣 that's dumb really talk
I hate how these kids do videos on places they have to Google about. The average New Yorker is nowhere near rich and the city is nowhere near safe either. Come take a trip and find out
Bronx still going crazy they taking longer to clean that up BK certain parts jump despite gentrification Queens fairly safe now I feel like Jamaica Queens low key the burbs now Harlem still jump in some spots, The Bronx not gentrified like every other.. and it’s actually one way out of rpt in vehicle if you on foot you can go though building 10 and exit through the garage
Walking with ma dukes, I was like 8 at the time when I saw a $20 bill on the ground in front of the Bodega, which was in front of them Riverpark towers. I picked my head up and saw some dudes hanging out front of the Bodega watching me, so I left it. Another light story. I wrestled a dude they called man, man in the Bronx. His boys hyped him up heavy, but I won that one. I'm from Brooklyn but just a couple memories from them #bronxdays

My Old Stomping grounds. I grew up in-between all those Projects... 2 blocks in either direction and Train tracks behind us. But I rode every borough and several towns in Jersey making moves. 🤫 Night Pool in Roberto Clemente next to RPT... Also Astoria pool in Queens. We was crazy and went everywhere. Good ole days. Lol
I like how instead of just going straight into the whole gandland/gang war BS, he starts off with the city/state's history of whatever gang he's covering. It's exactly why I fcks with this channel so much versus the others.
First to all the people saying NY want's to be like Chicago only thing NY is doing like Chicago is the music style. The beefs have been going on way before Chicago Drill was a thing. So please stop 🥜🏍
I been told you don’t let statistics fool you. Sh!t ain’t no joke out here. You should’ve taken more time to do thorough research tho. There’s way more to this story and you got a few things wrong with what you’ve posted so far. Appreciate the effort just wish it was accurate. Free Kay Flock 💯
@Bobby Flynn yeah , I lived in Philadelphia for 8yrs during undergrad/grad school… the year we moved to California it was 366 murders.. the last 2 years are rivaling 91/92
Bro that’s crazy new yourk has over 8 million people but st Louis barley has 300 thousand && we almost had more murders than them. We had more than LA during the pandemic I think . 300 thousand people and 200+ murders almost every year . People always forget about St. Louis and sadly that’s why I feel like it won’t get any better, the rest of the country just act like we don’t exist. Last time people talked about STL was after mike brown got killed.
Philly had 550 and Chicago had 700 in 2021 Philly has 316 and Chicago has 370 this year LA only had 300 with more ppl than both only small cities than get ranked by capita are up there but the numbers are so far behind no other city in the country had more than 400 murders but Philly and Chicago in the last 3 years
Ty for doing the Bronx mine g. Grew up all 5 boroughs, but laid my roots in Flatbush brooklyn the most. Love my heads in BX tho. Shouts to castle hill and grand concourse~ I spent a couple years in Bay Area and a few years in LA. It’s really hard to compare their gang culture, but it’ll be fun to see how u break it all down. The parts that are similar r very similar and the parts that are different are really different. Probably 2x the amount of gang clicks than LA, but at like twice the size of a city as well. And the banging here is more about hustling and money. The banging in LA is about banging more than it is hustling. We have a lot of violent offenders that are arrested n back out on the streets in days. You’ll cross paths w at least a handful every day you go out. This makes The civilian areas of NYC way more unpredictable and dangerous than LA, which makes the average citizen way more street and street smart. But the gang areas feel a lot more light n diet compared to cali. Civilians walk through all the time bc of how accessible public transportation is. In LA, you really don’t have to go to certain areas if u don’t need to be there. Instead of traditional drive bys, nyc did walkbys. Obvi traffic will have u caught up at the very next light lmao. But in recent times, it’s more dirt bikes, bicycles, scooters, etc. easier to weave in n out that way and almost impossible to cops to catch you. A lot of knife fights n jail style conflict on the streets as well. It’s like if crips from LA and GD from Chi town moved to nyc where it’s an environment for more Warriors (the film) style gang culture all mixed in one. Peace to the west bb. Looking forward to all ur vids regardless.
Notti jumped a dude on train tracks and the one dude had a small knife and while notti was beating him up on the train tracks (kdot) he pulled out a knife and kdot ran
Bro I like ur videos but you talking a lot of big shit about NYC. " But it's New York so you know everybody was lacking?" Lmaooo.. NYC and NJ are the stiffest gun laws in the country. NYPD since 9/11 has had the city on lock. If you know the history of this city you know that the 70s 80s and 90s were really really rough then we got hit with 9/11. We have had like 15 years of relative peace and everybody wanna say NYC is somehow soft. It's insane. NYC breeds tough human beings. That's a fact. And certain areas like South Bronx, parts of Brooklyn, parts of S.I., Harlem have never seen "good times". It got a little better but to say the vast majority of NYC is wealthy is inaccurate. If you take the crime and murder rate from certain neighborhoods the rates are as high as anywhere. Thats not bragging either. No one wants murder and crime. But NYC is massive and it factors in nice neighborhoods in Queens, REALLY expensive neighborhoods in Manhattan and Staten Island. Also, if you survived NYC thru the 80s and 90s you understand exactly what it was like and probably have some form of PTSD from how grimey it was back then. You had the hoods like Crown Heights, Harlem, Bed-Stuy, Brownsville, East New York, Mott Haven, Soundview, Morrisania and my favorite hood of all time Hunts Point. You have people like Pistol Pete, Boy George, Yellow Top Crew, NFL, OG MACK, OG Deadeye, LA Brim, Dick Wolf ect from the hoods in NY who are street legends. Then, you have guys like John Gotti, Sammy the Bull, Chin Gigante, Tommy Karate, Gaspipe Casso, Michael Franzese, Greg Scarpa, Crazy Joey Gallo, AND the old timers like Carlo Gambino, Lucky Luciano, Albert Anastasia, Vito Genovese, ect and all the other mafia guys who ran NYC. The streets run deep in NYC and even in 2023 its far from a soft city. NYC has more people in Florence ADX Supermax than anywhere else. Now you have Times Square which is like the Disneyland of NYC. But if you only knew all the ghosts walking around there from all the pimps, hookers, hustlers and dope dealers that occupied that space from the area there then you'd quiver.
The younger ny drill rappers grew up on Chicago. Chicago had the first edai and d-thang. Can't be mad though cause Chicago drill influenced everywhere but ny the most
@@grimreaper7363 I feel ATM Chicago definitely made the biggest impression with this generation, them and Atalanta because we have have family there ,most ppl do ,but the Chi gang life and shlingo melted with ours
I don't condone snitching but once my boy kills an innocent cabbie I would of snitched too. Civilians are off limits, and these young gangsters have no morals!! True Gangsters have morals.
Living in Nyc is like living in The Matrix! Anyone can be an agent. Is that black tinted out car cops or opps 🤷🏾♂️ Carrying a gun is a 50/50 gamble. There is a camera everywhere you go and you can still get shot in broad day. Plus you get more points for your knife work because it's up close and personal. Not to mention the thousands of literally crazy people around you everyday 🙄 Anything can pop off at any time and anywhere 💯
@@jarodraines2640 Because like swamp storiez said, there are tons of millionaire’s that make up Nyc population, which lowers the murder rate, but for those who do live in the concentrated areas where it’s hood, its hell on earth. I was watching the news one morning. This woman got smoked walking her baby, this boy got shot in the head after two teens hopped out a car in traffic and shot him off his scooter, someone got stabbed, Ny in general is safe but if u live in the hood its wild☠️
After this video I unsubbed, I just assumed he was telling the truth cus I'm not from the west coast but i live in harlem so I knew all the details of this war. He literally got almost every detail wrong which makes me think hes lying in all his videos now. Even well covered news stories like Notti. Notti and the OYs was literally walking around a saw a opp and chased him into the train station and cornered him and he stabbed Notti and Notti pushed him into the train tracks and he ran off while Notti realized he was stabbed. Died later... this guy said 3 guys caught Notti coming off the train tho even tho Notti was the aggressor
@swamp stories , this really does set you apart from a lot of other beef channels . Context is very important and you’re very good at explaining how the past has affected the present. This comment got it ^
actually for notti osama , he and two other friends seen one of notti’s opp and went up to him, cornering him with a broomstick, that’s when his opp stabbed him once in the abdomen, one of his friends pushed his opp on the tracks making his back bleed, the two friends ran away while notti died from the stab
Everyone literally believes this lmao. Everytime I’m on the west coast and someone finds out I’m from Harlem they say, “Oh we got some money in here”…no tf we don’t 😂. I’m straight outta NYCHA and tryna avoid student loans.
First off dthang ain’t the leader of RPT YGz he’s just the most known due to rap. He’s not facing 151 just for a gun. A specific gun he flashes in videos is responsible for multiple shootings and at least 1 murder I believe. The new RPT members all just got hit with the ny version of the Rico kase ysl just got hit with... my first dislike on your channel; this was more for the klicks off the hype of them going to jail... you didn’t even mention the fact the whole krew just got hit not just d thang
NYC has a larger than average share of rich folks. But the majority on New Yorkers aren't rich. For every 1 rich person there is probably 100 poor people. Just for perspective, NYC only ranks 9th nationally in highest average income for a large city. It is beaten by 4 west coast cities, 2 midwest cities and 2 east coast cities.
Um maybe bc his cousin don’t have nothing to do with this video…he don’t have to mention allat if that’s not what he talking about in this specific video. Ask him to do a video on it…
Just heard you mentioned in the No Jumper 1090 Jake interview. Being here since day one, that made me proud. You’re story telling is going to carry you far.
No it won't cuz he has no identity. You can't get real money without your face being seen in entertainment/media. Why else you think AK showed himself?
nah its dope hearing about beefs that happen near u but this video is not it. he didnt do research if he did then cuz read like a 6th graders point of view on it.
ABOUT TIME SWAMP STORIEZ!!! Show the East some Love!! Gotta do Part 2 and 3 because you skipped a whole lot of shit that’s important including SevSide and other rappers. I get Notti is trending but still.
You thought NYC was safe compared to the west? LA and majority of California’s active days are long gone and they’re living off of the 80’s and 90’s reputation. They’re cities that’s wild all throughout the land but as of right now Chicago and Philadelphia has set themselves apart, sadly. 2021 Chicago had 700 homicides and Philadelphia had 550. 2022 Chicago has 370 and Philadelphia has 316. Everyone is far behind besides lowly populated cities than rank by capita but they’re numbers are significant lower. For example LA had 300 in 2021 and they’re larger and way more populated than both Chicago & Philadelphia. Granted, it’s wild everywhere but some places are vastly more dangerous.
Why are you comparing cali cities to fucking CHICAGO?? Chicago is a city that’s in the lead. It’s literally a warzone. Don’t mean act like crime isn’t up there compared to most of the country.
Bronx crime rate 44.4 Brooklyn crime rate 39.6 NYC crime…..22.9 Bx wasn’t the worst borough every year at all during the 80s/90s. It was always back nd forth between BK and BX, even now those two boroughs make up for 80% of nyc homicide and crime in. Both boroughs were no fly zones back in the day.
Yes there is!!! A lot of the history of NY has been lost through the years. I remember when NY gang culture was more known than Cali's gang culture back in the 70's. NY and Chicago was always on the news.
Finally my boy drops a video on my city! It’s about time my guy it’s much appreciated. It should’ve been titled “YGz vs Everybody” though being as how the YGz pretty much at war with every gang in the Bronx.
You got it wrong notti was the one who approached him with a group they jumped the kid but he had a knife and stabbed notti in the stomach and when notti ran away he collapsed down the stairs and died the judge set the teen’s charge as manslaughter but he’s probably going to go home off self defense
nah wha really happened was niggas saw him and Notti was with his mans and ran down on bro but the nigga tried running away into the train and so Notti and his mans followed where niggas starting fighting and got pushed into the tracks and his mans brought out the pokey so the other nigga did and both got stabbed but after notti mans stabbed the other nigga he ran on him leaving notti to bleed out
