RS-918 & XIEGU , X6100 HF Transceivers 

Both great radios, I have 918 since 2018, and two weeks with Xiegu x6100, I like both really much. 918 super variable, I like the NR, and I use the RF gain in 19, that spot gives me perfect blend between background noise and signal. I haven't tested Xiegu outdoor yet

I heard there might be a version that flips the display on the 6100 so you can use it like a HT I.E vertical direction ...That might be nice N6VOA

i have seemed to have screwed up my settings when I reset everything.... 😞

Nobody will receive you as your microphone is not connected you, from the display you are in Digital mode and the RS-918 is supposed to get the audio via the usb from the computer... long press the RIT button until you get Mic on the display instead of DIG ;)

The RS-918 is ok, as long as you are willing to forget that the hardware design (which is NOT open source) was stolen from Chris, M0NKA!
