Alice and Bob agreed to use RSA algorithm for the secret communication. Alice securely choose two primes, p=5 and q=11 and a secret key d=7. Find the corresponding public key. Bob uses this public key and sends a cipher text 18 to Alice. Find the plain text.

In 6:48 it should be d=(1+k*phi(n))/e not "d=(1+k*phi(n))/d" . Is it correct ?

your algorithm which u are using to find d is not working for all for example if pi(n)=160 and e =7 it is difficult to find d by using d=1+k.pi(n)/e is wrong

I believe it either uses the number the letter comes in the alphabet, or any of the numerical computer languages (binary, hex, etc)

choose any random number but the constraints is that the number you have chosen should be positive and less than the totient function and also GCD (or HCF) of that number and the totient function should be equal to 1.

Then, he needs to convert characters to number first before encryption. For example- A-1, B-2, ..., Z-26 And the separator between two letters can be 0. So, for "BAN", conversion would be 201014. So, M= 201014 for encryption
