I went to Record Store Day at my local shop and most of the stuff had gone by the time I got there. I bought something that wasn't a RSD release - a copy of the Disney soundtrack of the Lion King on orange vinyl - I haven't had the chance to play it yet.

Picked up the Scott Weiland RSD release today. They had the Dolly Parton album when I was in the store.

Strawberry alarmclock album is really cool! I picked up a box bull of rock n roll vinyl from the 70s (mostly) a few from the 80s like 40 total for 20$ mostly pristine condition too! From a garage sale! Yay me lol!

I'm looking for 'Fiddler on the Roof' No luck yet. Like you I totally enjoy different Music. I like Pop,rock,country, & long hair classics,1812 for example. I'm still looking for a awesome turntable. I think I found it on one of you videos, a yr ago. Thank you for sharing your life in Florida. Stay awesome friend.

I slept late and arrived at around 4:30, and they STILL had everything that I wanted. A few second-tier titles, however, were the last copies that they had, so I had to cop those in addition! I wound up with Prince Rakeem/The RZA, José González, Suicide, “Mad House Records 30th-Anniversary Collection” (dancehall reggae tracks produced by the great Dave Kelly), Shirley Scott (last copy!), Belinda Carlisle (last copy!), Juno Reactor (last copy!), Nas, Brotha Lynch Hung (last copy!), Brian Eno, Ennio Morricone, the Orb, and Flash & the Dynamics. There was still more that I wanted, but you gotta stop somewhere before you go broke! Peace.

The place I was at today said they opened at 8 this morning instead of 11, there was someone waiting outside since 2am waiting for them to open up.

I went to Retro Records on Bumby, and they still had a copy of Dolly. I was abe to snag Tori Amos and Doctor Who. There were still a copy of each of those there too after I left.

Hopefully you can track down the Dolly Parton Monument singles. My favorite store got three copies, and I managed to get one

LIKE number 3 which I did with glee. I've never attended any Record Store Day events in record stores, but there are certainly a few RSD releases that interest me including some jazz records, that Dolly Parton release, that Strawberry Alarm Clock 'Incense and Peppermints' release, etc. However, I'm not a fan of the long lines during RSD events or lining up to then come up empty and not find records I'd like to buy, so I'll probably avoid Record Store Day, but hopefully anyone hunting for records will find what they are looking for. :)

(Isn't this where I commented on RSD day finds yesterday, MON and listed them- was it removed - Is this not a place for discussion?) My first time did not work out on SAT. Took a trip out of my way to a shop in Brooklyn that was listed, but did not participate. On MON. went to a shop new to me, even more convenient in middle of Greenwich Village, well stocked. I loved it enough to go back today TUES. Shopped out. They had most of releases discussed here. But a couple of items found were actually from RSD 2022 and that is OK!

You pick the most oddball stores to go to, you should have just gone to Park Ave
