Remember playing Runescape in middle school and a little in high school with friends. Too many memories to name. Now I'm in college, busy studying pre-med classes with a job, new set of friends, new goals, preparing for life. I wish I could go back, when it was so simple.

I thank RuneScape for getting me into rock/metal due to All these RSMV's that have been made. Runescape was the perfect game with all the emotes and medieval themes for most of the songs recorded. Everything was planned and done in the most creative ways, I have a lot of respect for these Video makers that made RS much more awesome in the good old days :D.

Pretty sure that this was the first rsmv that I ever saw. I miss the old days, back in 07 and 08. I've left this game more times than I can remember, but I always seem to come back. It's a shame that the old community left. So many memories, so much nostalgia.

Everytime I hear this song it brings me back to when I was a kid playing RS. I really miss those days. 25 now. Always on Skype having conversations with friends you met. slaying bosses together and probably playing similar songs to this whilst doing so. The world is getting Darker. The comminitys are dying, the big companys are dying. Some poeple have noticed it, (ever seen the dark remakes of old Disney cartoons?) but they have simply taken advantage of it. Who misses stuff like the old gaming communitys? For this class I am writing a paper on how RuneScape was used as a narrative platform that allowed users to interact with popular music through the creation of RuneScape Music Videos. Juho Uusi-Hakimo That is probably because the new system is too difficult for beginning people. Only the people who have played runescape for a long time(2+ years) want to go playing. And if you are member (which you probably are) not very many people buy membership now. Or they beg 10 hours a day for a bond.

It died but is gaining new players more than ever before? (It actually is they gave out alot of statistics lately). Maybe you should stop hating and dont think a game will die because a minority of the community disliked an update ;)

***** yeah, sure. This would explain why it has 400-600% less peoples than before EoC and why all almoust all famous Runescape videomakers quit Rs and switch to Minecraft and other games. It's minority who decided to stay and supporting eoc. Those your statiscs are false. The modern Rs3 can't even reach 100k online anymore even at the peak or have max 2k players at any worlds(server). But this doesnt matter anymore for me since I quited Rs 1 year ago

***** All videomakers I watched in 2011 actually still stream,the fact that we have fewer players online per world is because 07 is released and people hop between games now (like myself) And the total online count requires a bit of maths so bare with me: The average playtime from a scaper is 3h a day,so 3h a day he counts as "1 people online" on the list,when we still had bots we had bots that were online for 24hours,so it counted "as 8 players online,we peaked 90k post EoC and we used to peak like 140k in 2012 and a memberloss (mostly bots) from over a million,we have 600k ish members now compared 2m ish in 2012 Before you comment to this and try to knock down rs again,make sure you understand the above ;)

Nothing lasts Forever.. the only thing you will keep are memories. I really miss the childhood when i played this game and life was so much easier. I started in 2006/7 when i was in 3rd/4th grade on elementary school, and now? i celebrated 21years on 1st december... Time flies really fast and tbh it is depressing:/..

They made the best RSMVs and have amazing taste in music sadly half of the videos were removed to copyright and another quater are audioswapped but you can still watch the RSMV properly if you sync the song in another tab
