Cuz they both have irregular fire patterns. Flatplane I4s have a regular, even firing pattern, so they scream instead of growl

@@trillabp3971 in terms of absolute performance rsv4 is faster. Probably R1 is way easier so "better" for an amateur rider. Also the rsv4 is a sort of race ready bike. I mean... a race bike is another story, but rsv4 is the closest bike out of the dealer. Tha chassis is just the best in the category and the engine is one of the best (talking about 1000cc, the 1100 is actually the best): good peak power in all ranges and excelent power delivery. Braking area is the one in which it is way day superior to anyone, especially R1. The only thing aprilia should improve is the electronics, if compared to latest bikes. Is very good anyway

Mel Mather the great thing is it’s not running lean at all. It is running rich after 6k rpm. It will definitely be a lot better with the OFT and tuned but it’s not hurting anything without a race ecu or tuner.

Steven Devereaux yea, I have it pointed towards me, and with the deadcat, it doesn’t pick up any wind noise. It makes the GoPro sound like a pro camera

JBellz - An Arrow distributor told me today (4/25/19) that I don’t need to do anything with the ECU (which I’ve heard before), but I’ve also heard the opposite. Dammit, why can’t I get a straight answer? Who am I supposed to believe, if not an ARROW DISTRIBUTOR?
