I believe the hybrid uses the Honda factory casing and rebuilds it to their specifications. Ktuned looks like they use pot metal for their CMC. Thanks for this info, I have the hybrid sitting on the shelf and I’m sure I would’ve made the same mistake.
It would more than double the price of it, just to sell you a plug and play version since you’d need two cmc to create just one. When you can just swap it out of yours and onto the em1 cmc. 🤷🏽♂️
I have the Ktuned CMC and slave on the TSX with the steel braided line. Engagement is somewhere in the middle towards the middle low, if that makes sense. Also, I got a stage 4 clutch and heavy duty pressure plate.
I just installed this 2 days ago. My bite point was high as well until I adjusted my pedal position now its in the middle. Really stiff with a ktune slave. Hopefully lasts
@@jdmdennis9763 yea I didn’t change the rod either. I actually don’t mind where the bite point is at. Is that the only reason you’re changing it or would it go bad sooner?
