i lost my glasses and my optometrist only charged me like $65 because of some back to school special. Not that crazy of a deal

It's an amazing deal. Most places will charge an extra 80 bucks for that scratch/UV resistant coating, and you're a fool if you always wear your glasses and don't get that. If you don't get that coating, you have the problem of everywhere there is light looks like streaks of light. On you phone, while driving, watching tv, etc. So 95 bucks for that is pretty damn good, especially if you have insurance.

Where I go, frames are around 70 and lenses can cost me an extra 60-70. Thats a pretty awesome deal.

DooWah Thunderclap and GrifGraf, it's very possible to just walk in and get glasses in no time. They measure your eyes and provided your eyes aren't super bad, you pick a frame, they put the glasses in and you walk out with glasses.

There's so many things wrong with what you just said. A) The whole point of RTLife is that it's supposed to show us what Rooster Teeth employees do behind the scenes normally. Sponsoring an RTLife video kind of defeats the purpose or RTLife in the first place. B) While it is true Rooster Teeth is a buisness and buisness are designed to make money, Rooster Teeth is an entertainment company first. Their content has to be entertaining. Seeing some not-well-known Rooster Teeth employees go and buy glasses is not entertaining to many people. C) The ad is also not well disclosed. It's not mentioned that this is a paid promotion until the end of the video, which makes it feel disingenuous potentially even violates rules on how you're supposed to disclose ads.

The point is the stuff that happened in this video wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for a video. RT Life is supposed to be candid not manufactured and sponsored. If you think that "Rooster Teeth Entertainment"''s job isn't to make entertaining content you're a moron. Disclosing that it is a plug is a bare minimum requirement. They are legally required to do that and they only did so at the END of the video.

It's part of a RU-vid overlay which means A) It's literally appearing off the video B) The text only shows up once at the beginning, can disappear while the video is paused, and once you finish the video if you rewatch it it doesn't re-appear. Also, the thing I just said about it: "Disclosing that it is a plug is a bare minimum requirement. They are legally required to do that and they only did so at the END of the video." Is not my opinion, it's the law.
