I get what Gavin is saying with the size thing, humans are the perfect size in relation to the rest of the world. Not too big so we can easily navigate various environments like a forest and not too small so everything prey on us.

Gus, I share your ability to have premonitions in dreams. Let me tell you guys a story, this could be a long comment. So, basically, I'm dreaming. I remember that the dream was long and up until now I'm sure it didn't take place in my school. But for some reason this one part which I now distinctively remember is burnt into my memory: me and my friend begin to walk through a room with blue carpet floors and white walls. It's square. I flip a coin (One Euro) and it lands on an Eagle symbol. Suddenly, I stop and my friend does this weird thing to stop himself after a step or two. Then I guess the dream went on and I don't recall it. So sure enough, two weeks later (long time to remember a dream!) I opened to door to my schools' pastoral area- blue carpet floors and white walls - while walking with my friend. I get halfway across and flip the Euro coin I am about to spend in the shop (which I am going towards, it's just up the hall from where I am) and remember that part of the dream! I stop in shock- that's why I stopped in the dream! My friend does his weird clunky stop thingy and asks what's wrong. "Nevermind." I say, "You'll never believe it." *100% true. I swear on my honor this actually happens every few weeks and it scares the shit out of me. But, just as Gus' problem was, no matter how I try to prove it -- nobody believes me.* I'm absolutely researching this.

I've had dreams that have come true, and they were way to specific to be coincidence. Hasn't happened as much recently but maybe your sense of future gets worse as you get older.

Ima keep an informal tally of things Gavin mentions tht happened in the Karl Pilkington radioshows and podcasts, this episode inculdes cutting worms in half myth and crabs in jars with octopuses and if a lion could talk you couldn't understand it. Knowing like all of those radioshows I'm convinced tht Gavin gets all his 'stupid' stuff from Karl, oh and Happy Egg is Ricky Gervais.

my english teacher in 12th grade showed us a video about the english language, it said that when people tried to make english the universal language, every region that learned it, butchered it by adding bits of their own language into it and creating their own words. The answer to Burnie's "Why aren't hot and cold 2 different senses?" thing is that from a scientific standpoint there is no such thing as cold, only the absence of heat. Hot and cold are both subjective, but heat is a measure of energy within a system. So I guess it would be a sense of the magnitude of heat? Like you guys said, it's all semantics. This whole thing is almost as dumb as the fact that I'm commenting on it on youtube 6 months after it stopped being at all relevant.

I'm not one of those people who get a raging boner every time someone mentions Barbara but omg did she sound adorable in the end.

The thing Gus talks about around 1:10:00 I have as well. It's basically dreams where you see / hear something happen and then you witness it later, though the interval between the dream and the occurrence of the event is random. It is really strange because as you realise that you have dreamt about it you can remember everything that is about to happen. It sounds like horse shit and it is super fucking weird when it happens, but I swear it's real.

I swear one time I had a premonition dream once, but I can't remember it for the life of me! All I remember is walking through my school and thinking, "This seems familiar..." It irritates me that I can't remember what it was. Also while I think Gavin is awesome, I must admit that his explanation of why we're the perfect size was confusing as hell.
