As far as I know you can’t hear negative decibels when you’re using a scale of how loud something is. But in a studio application, aka DBFS (decibels full scale) then 0 eaquals the absolute noise ceiling of something therefore everything is negative.

Sometime last year they were going to do a drunk episode for RvB season 14. Apparently they got way too smashed and the recording was unusable, so they've never released it. But now they have to, and it's gonna be great

Running down a mountain theory: At the speed you would be falling, when your foot hit the ground (which is still) your whole leg would be ripped off like nothing when your foot is slowed by the ground. Remember when you ride your bike and you put your foot on the ground? if your going too fast your foot just shoots back.

When Burnie started talking about his pro controller, I was immediately thinking back to both of my xbox one controllers, one console standard and one pro, both of which have broken left bumpers. The pro controller was a replacement for the standard, and the bumper broke before I owned it for 10 days. When are companies going to make a quality controller where the only face buttons are Start & Select/Back? We don't need to physically see ABXY/SquareCircleTriangleX. Just take those exact buttons and put them where our ring & pinky fingers rest NATURALLY instead of using paddles. If there is an input where our fingers rest, that's the most comfortable and reflexive spot for them to be.

The whole oxygen thing is fun to listen to! I live in Laramie, Wyoming which is at 7220 ft above sea level, being the highest location for sports in the USA! Its great to watch athletes from California and the East Coast struggle as they run out of air so much faster than our own athletes! Kind of an advantage! If you want to test this, do some running or hiking in Austin then come to Laramie and run or hike and you'll notice a difference!

1:22:07 the diagram says rolls which are different than flips. I think the plane only flipped once, but did 5 rolls (rolling from side to side not front to back) before regaining complete control. The turbulence probably gave them a really messy trajectory in their first flip.

In the UK we don't get medication in bottles, we have it in blister packs, research concluded that medication in blister packs greatly reduced suicide by OD. Bottles have not been in use for many years now and the only thing to still come in bottles are vitamins and prescribed drugs for animals.

Correct it is down to having to pop them out one by one, a study was carried out by Oxford University and showed that not only did it reduce suicide and accidental OD but it also increases shelf life. Numb Nuts, Thanks. That article is what I kind of expected. Most often the idea of suicide seems to be a permanent solution to a temporary or even a very temporary problem. My Xbone controller's triggers are squeaky. It makes me wanna throw it sometimes. According to all I've heard, it's like there's always something wrong with them, but the 360's controllers were some of the best I've ever owned. I've never had a problem with them.

Just replace the bumper on the elite controller! It takes 5 minutes to swap out and cost $10 vs a whole new controller. Same issue happened on mine.

Just a cool fact, the black paint that they talk about absorbs light from the (human) 'visible light' spectrum and releases radiation in a non visible spectrum. That is why it can look completely dark. It absorbs most of visible light.

Fun Fact: When they begin talking about animals knowing when an earthquake is coming at 48:40 , animals also know when an airstrike is coming. You can find videos on youtube of airstrikes in Afghanistan where dog stops and darts a few seconds before the bomb, being aware of it.

The reason the day 1 patches are so big is because the version of the game they submit to be released online isn't the final product. They usually submit those a long time before the final release, so all the changes they made leading up to it aren't in the distributors servers yet, so the "update" is a a really big update

disclaimer: I'm not a pilot, but I spent 5 years as a crew member on a cargo aircraft and have completed pilot ground training. anywho. the pilots would've probably known what happened. they would've known there was traffic and what kind that close. it's usually the airspace controller who will give directions for the two aircraft to avoid that kind of wake turbulence. not sure who's responsibility it was though. even in a moderately sized aircraft like the C-17 we sometimes had to do that for smaller prop planes.

Never been to England (or any part of the UK), so I have no clue what an actual English breakfast looks like. But that looks pretty awesome. I'm not sure why they're saying it's gross or weird. Although, I'd personally substitute the beans for pancakes.

moosenugget7 Find an English pub somewhere near you (if you live in a city it shouldn't be that hard) They usually serve full English breakfasts. It's so good. If you can't find a pub, they aren't really that hard to make.

If I were to be like Gavin and get on a habit of listening to air traffic control...I'd probably put the source of that curiosity and interest into...having been to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville PA because at the memorial building, you can learn about the events leading up to 9/11 but ALSO at the end...listen to phone calls made in the last few precious minutes of the flight, made by passengers. (Flight 93 being the one that was "re-hijacked" by its passengers, hence why it crashed in a field in Shanksville, PA.)
