Burrito, is from my City, juarez, and it's called like that cause a lot years ago a man bring food inside a tortilla and he used a donkey to move, so people says let's go with el burrito (the donkey) so that's why it's named Burrito, for the donkey of that man.
Ayyy I'm from El Paso and yeah this is super well known down there. Also corn>flour. Taste is way better. When I was a kid I loved flour but as I got older, I found better tasting corn tortillas. Also yes a lot of restaurants have trash tortillas in east Texas
I think this is something you have to eat when you're to young to realize how gross it is, like everything pickle or vinigar, if you didn't grow up with it, you hate it. Like Haggis or Sourkraut.
