​​​​​​@@roguephoenix He ran away with his granddaughter Susan shortly before the start of the classic series. Yes, he abandoned his family for mysterious unknown reasons. Speaking of which... It would be funny, considering she was brought up this season, if it turned out Susan Twist was playing a new incarnation of Susan, and that's the reason Russell chose an actress named Susan Twist... It just feels like something RTD would do... Esp since it is left entirely ambiguous as to whether Susan became a timelord and thus gained regenerations, since the reveal of regeneration was after she left and she has had fairly minimal appearances since. Specifically the 20th anniversary special, and a few audios.

@@parrot998 old fans would certainly love that and new fans would be like "wtf" i certainly didn't know he had that large family that he abandoned. is this season going to be a big domestic violence case? 😆

I also do not really believe him about 14 and the second Tardis... It is too much of a plot point to leave laying around, but admitting any potential return could ruin the premise of a finale

It is her real name funnily enough, it isn't a pseudonym, she is called Susan Twist and she's a veteran actress!

@@CamMcGinn1981 Oh yeah definitely! It's made me wonder: did they cast her entirely because of her name or is it just the most amazing coincidence? I love it. There's always a *TWIST* at the end! I really hope we get an interview with her, I'd presume we will for Unleashed for the finale episodes. I can't wait for that!
