I heard somewhere that Joel switched the SIM card on Jack's phone and gave out a false number but that's a bit of a stretch. I think he actually gave his number out lol.
+Bobby Ewing no, he didn't. he and caity (jack's wife) planned it. joel bought a new sim, memorized the number and caity swapped the card while jack wasn't looking. joel gave that number out. they gave his number back afterwards.
I just noticed burnie whispering in jacks ear, assumingly telling him it was a joke. You can even hear burnie telling him to say "1-310" before jack says it.
No, jack is not awesome. He's the lamest dude at the company but he thinks he's some huge celebrity and he thinks he's the most creative person to ever work at RT.... he takes credit for things like the Tower of Pimps when it's fucking Gavin who started that. As a matter a fact when you go back and watch that let's play Jack spent the whole time bitching about how Gavin was making it and how he wanted to destroy it. Now that it became a thing and the AH guys are known for the tower of pimps, he takes credit for it. Fuck jack he's just a talentless douchebag who needs to be taken down a few pegs and there's so many people at RT who can't fucking stand him. It's good to see someone like joel fucking with him.
I like Jack, he's got his flaws but he's no where need as bad as Bobby Ewing is making out. I'd also like to ask Bobby how he knows who likes whom behind the scenes at RT.
Allan Graves I know he built a tower of pimps for RTX but he was acting like it was HIS. Gavin told Joel he could sign it but Jack was being such a prick about it and he was excluding Joel from signing it. Gavin, Gus, Burnie, Geoff, everyone else said Joel could sign it but Jack was being a Cunt about it
They have a shirt in the store called "Jack's Phone Number" with the actual number Joel says. I'd say its perfectly fine to use the number in the video, as it's a different SIM card that Joel bought and put in Jack's phone specifically for this purpose.
Jack comparing it to Joel's car is so stupid. I can't believe he said something so irrational. I mean he's the guy in the corner of the AH guys room shaking his head when Michael and Gavin are being stupid.

I was in the Achievement Hunter lounge when this happened. Twitter was going insane, it was pretty funny. And then Jack came back and I felt bad so I gave him a hug. Still funny.
I think the joke is that Joel signed a fanmade ToP last RTX by mistake and Jack was really angry with him for it, and one of the podcasts went into great detail about it. It wouldn't really work with Gavin.
jeez if you think about it, this is probably a really complex prank unless you can duplicate a copy of the sim card information, I think Caiti was also part of the prank cuz theres no way she and jack would be texting each other if they hadnt had the right numbers
That wouldn't stop people. They'd still try it anyway even if they had said it was a fake number. My guess is Joel had a lot of people in on this and they knew the fake number beforehand, hence why Jack wasn't suspicious
It was a false number, he switched out jacks sim card when he was not looking, That is why gavin said "Was that your phone number?" Like jack said, he had the number for twelve years so you would think Gavin would know it, but he said "Was that your phone number" Also check Joels twitter and Jacks twitter again.
Jack has the worst sense of humor I've ever seen.. He can't take anything.. Not even talking about the phone because he didn't know it was a joke at the time.
So if you had a phone with a bunch of contacts and someone gave their number to a thousands of people you be cool with that? This was funny and messed up at the same time so you can't say he has no sense of humor

I actually really felt bad for Jack. The audience booed Joel because he did something really stupid. Aw Jack. A lot of people said that wasn't really Jack's # though.
It seems like Joel is the trouble maker at RTX. First he gets paid in singles to mug Kerry, and then gives away Jack's number, both times in front of a cheering audience XD
At the time, even Jack thought it was real. But now that I know that it was all a giant prank in which Joel switched out the SIM card, I don't think he's an asshole. But I sympathise with Jack's anger in this situation, it was totally justified. I'm just glad Joel isn't actually a giant dil-hole.
That's not a real number I heard something about, Joel changed the number on Jacks phone. Then after the rtx he changed it back it doesn't works anymore.
Check Jack and Joel's twitters! It was a fake number and Jack's SIM card was swapped. What we can take from this, is that Joel is a fucking BRILLIANT and EVIL prankster mastermind! Ryan's got some competition....lol!
