@@tr1pl741 No, it has to do with better utilization of asynchronous compute. Nvidia's older GPUs weren't well designed for that, while AMD's GPUs were designed to take advantage of that.
must be some compression error on the other two when he spliced together the footage. i think he used the 2070 footage as the base and then blended the other two in.
yes because Nvidia drops games' drivers optimization for older cards and just optimize games for their newer series and most of times they dont optimize old games for new series, thus old games which got optimized at the time of 1080 ti being a king performs better than 2070 and 3060 Ti, but for newer games, 1080 Ti didnt get drivers optimization similar to 2070/3060 Ti, and thats why its behind both, if Nvidia includes the 1080 ti in their drivers optimization for new games, i assure you that 1080 Ti will beat both of these cards in every single benchmark.
people saying the 4070 should have had (non frame generation) 3080ti levels of performance have forgotten the 2070 did not have 1080ti levels of performance. only the 3070 had 2080ti levels of performance, but only at resolutions below 4k.
I have a 1080 ti with i9 10900k and 32GB RAM, I had to upgrade from the 650W as the PC would shut off when the CPU and GPU wattage spiked. also caused instability with the system in general such as HDD's not responding and SSD's not showing up in the BIOS, upgraded to a 1000W PSU and all problems went away, I will add the 650W was around 8 years old so it could of just been on the way out.
@@enzopiacentino744 none of that shit matters. Turn on ANY of the extra features of rtx cards and your fps will drop below 1080ti considerably. I had a 3070 and went back to a 1080ti. Not worth the jump at all

These results are completly faked. I have a MSI RTX 2070 Ventus OC and i get more than 80 fps in cyberpunk @high without raytracing. These are all bullshits.
