It really is, and it's maybe 10-15% different from the 3070, yet also 25% cheaper MSRP. Also being the lowest tier card to have a FE, overall you really can't deny the 3060Ti excellent value to performance ratio. Just $400 for a card that, when paired with a 5600X, will push 4k 60fps in some games if you just tweak settings or use DLSS. It's all-round great for 1440p, and it's the true king of 1080p right now. What a value champion, this card will stay relevant for a long time just like the 1060 has.
@Arynn RTX 3060Ti is excellence for 1440P but i cant agree RTX 3070 is only 10% - 15% faster. Average gap between 3060Ti and 3070 is more like 15% - 20% depends from game. But overall price to performance ratio is more benficial for 3060Ti. I agree GTX 1060 is a legend!
Thanks so much for making an excellent side-by-side vid comparison - this is the best test vid I've ever seen! And u've helped me to make my purchase decision for GPU. Thanks again
Although the ti is a lot better, I am in no need for that much better specs. The 3060 for me is already more than enough. Even though it’s better bang for your buck the ti, I don’t really need it.
The VRAM usage on Ti version (8GB) is close to limit in some games. I guess my next card would be at least 10GB VRAM to feel more comfortable in my purchase. I use 1440p as well but for 1080p gaming i think the Ti is a great buy!
because they are obsessed with the vram, I have the 3060 TI, and I play at 1440p it is true that some games without putting them with maximum graphics exceeds the vram, but that happens more with the textures, and the truth is there is not much graphic difference, and the 3060 TI is a waste at 1080p
That's overkill. It's still a good 1440p card. Look at the 1% lows in the benchmarks the 3060 Ti is not stuttering even if it's almost at the VRAM limit. I know this because I have a 3060 Ti and I play at 4K 60.
Yeah I got a pc with a 3060 cause I kind of figured there wouldn't be much difference between it and the ti (which there usually isn't) but it turns out nothing could be further from the truth :( Anyway it seems like its enough for 1440p... for now.
I will be purchasing the rtx 3060 visison Oc (rev2) it’s going to be our new living room Pc. My brother upgraded from a 1080p monitor to a 4K monitor so the 3060 will be fine at 1080. Our old living room pc has lasted for like 12 years with no upgrades☠️ here the old pc specs: i3 something (2 cores) 2 sticks of ddr2 ram (3gb each) 512 had drive☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️ no gpu
@@davidpantoja36688gb VRAM will be fine for most games. The 12gb on the 3060 makes it a great entry level GPU for a workstation, for those doing photo and video editing, AI image generation, and 3D modeling and animation.
Need to put the stats text to the right or left we also like seeing the games running not just the text and it just in the way a little to much in the center.
The 3060 with 12gb makes it an excellent GPU for 3D modeling and animation, AI image generation, and it's low power draw and decent cooling capabilities will make it great for work stations. It's current popularity will also make it a benchmark for future games, much like how the 1050 was. If you're just worried about gaming, consider getting a AMD card.
Memory interface. The Ti is 256bits (thats why the 8gb aint THAT much of a deal, it has faster transfers of data internally), and 256bits would require it to be 8gb or 16gb. The non Ti is 192bits in the 12gb version and 128bits in the 8gb version.
