@@landenbeat those are great numbers! I did mention all in max/ultra. I did not want to optimize for multiplayer as I do for other games as I wanted to bench at max !
i have a 7800xt with a ryzen 7 5700x (both tuned through AMD Adrenaline and Ryzen Master) and 32gb 3600mhz. i was using radeon super resolution at 1080p upscaling to 1440p. i also used tuned youtuber in game settings and with my setup, i was averaging around 170fps consistently.
@smatharoo9327 yes, with the use of optimized settings and 'upscalers' (DLSS, FSR, XeSS) you can get more frames. The idea of the video is to share what max settings look like on native resolution. No upscaling. On another note, I personally do not like upscalers for competitive games since it tends to blur/lose details on the outer parts of the rendered-frame. I rather lower settings to stabilize the framerate and frametime. For campaigns, I do try to go max native and if the framerate is lower than 60, I will use upscalers.
@@ghost-td2qx to the contrary my friend. The bottleneck should always be on the GPU, that way you know you are getting 100% out of it. Also , YoY improvements on GPUs are typically double digits (xx%). Meanwhile CPUs are in the single digits. One of the best investments you can make is to get the best CPU and delay the purchase of a GPU as much as you possibly can to get the maximum performance increase. It also depends on the game. WH40K is heavily CPU dependent ( to put an example). I believe the 4080/4090 starts to cap out around 110 frames because of the CPU limitation . It’s a debatable topic for sure! I got this CPU because it sped up my rendering times by 7X! I appreciate the comment as well!
btw, optimized settings for performance/visuals i get 360 fps sometimes more with a 4080 7800x3d, for anyone using this video as a benchmark for what pc specs to get for bo6
I will probably will have to do an optimized version video. I mentioned all ultra, no upscalers. Yes, I know you can get more frames but its a more consistent way to benchmark. Nice setup btw
You may be using an upscaler without knowing. It's fine. 3060 desktop ultra, native its around 65-70frames --> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1RWmbHMfdPs.htmlsi=vs_P8tsOAo_cRvJC&t=90 check your settings.
@@kingkaldo I did not install any thing but I have activated DLSS but it make no difference with it or with out and I have arround 120 fps but when my cpu overeat I have 70-90 fps
While I do not play CoD since forever, I must say that they have this formula for their games that appears to be highly developed and nailed down (after playing the beta). One positive take away from this 'beta' is that their sound engine is extremely good. Sound fidelity, design, immersion it is very good. Visual quality is good but I feel that everything on ultra at 1440p for a 5v5 in a closed map running at 80ish frames feels unoptimized. Time for Warhammer 40K testing!
@@Microbe_Z Maybe he was expecting more performance on the game , etc. I don’t think adults are the primary demographic for CoD nowadays either. Thank you for commenting!
Your comment is somehow even worse than the people who loudly annouce them quitting a game as if it was an airport lounge. You supposedly quit, yet the franchise lives rent-free in your head :D
