In my country the cheapest 4060Ti with 8 Gb VRAM costs ~520$ (MSRP 400$), so it's a terrible GPU for that price, but it performs better than i expected. Even with that price it's kinda popular here because nvidia has better reputation after Pascal.
The 8GB 4060 ti should be completely ignored. People bitch about the 16GB version, but honestly, it's not nearly as bad as the 8GB version. It's just so ridiculous that they made a 400 USD card with only 8GB in 2023, when the previous gen already had cards like the 12GB 6700 XT, the 12GB 3060, and the 16GB A770, all for significantly less than 400 USD, and with about as much compute performance in the case of the 6700 XT. Vram costs Nvidia less than 4 dollars per gigabyte, but somehow you only get 8GB on a 400 USD graphics card? UNACCEPTABLE >:( I can kind-of understand why someone might be willing to pay 300 for the RTX 4060 (but you definitely shouldn't, it's not worth 300 USD), or why someone might be willing to buy the 16GB 4060 ti (for 450, I can understand how the features it has could make it worth buying for some people), but even the best discounts you can find on the 8GB 4060 ti still aren't good enough. That card just makes no effing sense for anybody. The RX 6800 can be found for slightly more and it has significantly better standard rasterized performance and DOUBLE the vram! The 6700 XT has similar standard raster performance and 50% more vram for around 70 bucks less! The 12GB RTX 3060 can be found for MUCH less, and in the most demanding games, the 12GB of vram will often allow the RTX 3060 to actually OUTPERFORM the 4060 ti, despite being roughly 100 USD less.
Maybe Marketing staff intends with this 8gb cards ppl are manipulated through Media how bad 8gb is... So the Mass gonna Go for 12Gb cards especially the ones from nv
Although rather late on the finding of this video, thank you! I always buy business monitors which tend to be 1440p 60 - 75hz max and I play only when a game catches my eye these days. I was really torn between the 4060ti and the 4070, but I only need 60fps and the 4070 is... rather pricey (here in NZ 4060 ti - $680, 4070 $1,049). This video showed a much more real life example for me to compare with and it'll be the 4060 ti for me! Thanks again for this awesome video.
I think most of the hate for the 4060 and 4060ti was in the price, the 16GB version of the ti is an all around solid GPU if you can find it for a reduced price. I also went for it!
Hey bro, I have overclocked my rtx 4060 ti by +225mhz on core and +1850mhz on memory. The voltage is on default voltage. After OC the core clock became 3015mhz and memory clock became 10850mhz. Previously, at stock settings core clock was 2790mhz and memory clock was 9000mhz. I tested almost everything for stablity and found out that it is stable. My timesky score boosted from 13,305 (stock) to 14,444 (oc) (i) Can I keep oc for 24 hours and 7 days? (ii) Will it reduce gpu lifespan?
Love your videos By watching you I made my new pc 7800x3d 7900xtx And 360hz monitor Well RDNA 3 is mighty impressive Coming from xbox series s I run a lot of old 2000s games from gog and I'm so happy with the performance Love your videos And commented for helping you in the algorithm
Hello bro I hope you still remember me since 20k subscriber. And Im so happy seeing you growing ❤️ btw I would like to ask if is it good to have ryzen 7 5700x on b450m ds3h mobo and rtx 3060 12gb?
The problem is it's price, when you have 7700xt and 7800xt so close to it's pricing point, though i hope it will drop down a little when Nvidia launched it's 40 series super version
Good video, clarifies some things regarding the 8GB model at 1440p showing that yes, 8GB is not enough for some games at this resolution and will become more frequent, you will be irritated by the frame spikes due to the 8GB limit in some cases, especially when trying to use RT and FG. Many say that 16GB is not useful due to the card's 128-bit bandwidth, but that's not true, ok, it's obvious that continuing with 128 bits was a bad idea from Nvidia on the Ti model, in addition to the terrible prices at launch, but the 16GB helps and especially at 1440p, the frame rate is more stable and there are no possible texture bugs. The trend in a short time is for games to get very close to 8GB (in some already get there), so I would avoid the 8GB model despite some continue to insist, and if you don't find an acceptable price or don't think it's worth spending on the 4060 Ti 16GB then make an effort and get at least the 4070 or the AMD equivalent. That's what happened to me, I only got the 4060 Ti 16GB instead forcing and squeezing my savings for the 4070 at time because of a flash promotion on Black Friday for the same price as the 8GB version and I can say the additional memory in fact helps and will help even more in future releases.
I know this is a little late but what did you think of the card at 1440p overall? i am thinking of getting one. I only have a 600w PSU so my options are limited. Thank You and great job.
I'd be happy to get 75fps @ 2560x1080. I currently rock a GTX 1650 and it does that job at mostly high settings on *decently* optimised games. If I wanted to totally replace my current pc, I'd get an RTX 4060 Ti.
I think im getting this one since i only use it for gaming, im cool with 60ish fps and the 16 GB variant allows you to use RT/PT, DLSS, FG the whole 40xx series gimmicks, im upgrading from a 2015 Titan Black 8GB which runs Cyberpunk 2077 at 30fps in high settings
With the help of useful features like DLSS, Reflex and superior RT performance and power efficiency, this GPU contrasts the nonsense of AMD Copeon's DOA offers. All budget GPU buyers need to do is but wait for a price cut on RTX 4060 Ti if need be, for it's always better to avoid a ban on their precious accounts by falling into AMD Copeon Terrible Group's traps. As always, RIP AMD🎉
Thr problem is everyone is giving their input in the 4060 based off what others are saying but have no real world experience with it. I had both the rx 6700xt and 4060ti, and bf2042 is my main game. Thr 4060ti dominates the Radeon card in terms of performance. Plays much smoother at higher settings.
@AncientGameplays off topic ? I have a 6950 XT and I use Frameview and AMD's Metrics Overlay Frameview does not count the FMFR frames so if it says 80 AMD says 165 or more FPS in say Alan Wake 2 Rogue City and Cyber Punk any Idea why who is lying really just curios I tried to stream it but OBS turns of my FMFR and wont show AMD overlay anyway. Your thoughts, thanks some one is lying
A lot of hate on the 4060ti but it only comes down to price. If the card was $300 ppl would still be crying about it versus their favorite card or something. Looking specifically at the card and its feature set, it’s a good card. And things should be kept relative to ppls situations. If you’re like coming from a 1650 (which is likely looking at Steam most used cards) it’s a breath of fresh air, but like if you already have RDNA2 or a 3000-series NVIDIA maybe not? Either way the card catches way too much non-objective criticism. Price can always change; only reason AMD has that sweet spot is they wanted to compete, but if they could have comfortably charged more they would have like all businesses do.
true, gpu is good, and like many say there is not a bad product just price, there is 360 euro 8gb but if it was 16 gb version for that money or a bit more expensive i wouldnt mind, good 1080p card and decent amount of games can run without dlss at 1440p, with dlss almost any, i dont count few unoptimised like latest ea game
I just use the 4060 ti as a 1080p gpu, which is what it was meant for. It's honestly pretty piss poor for 1440p gaming, I don't use RT, FG or any other features anyway. Then again I play on my Series X/One X, PS5 and Steam Deck the most anyway.
So 1440p Ultrawide is pushing it? I use a 2080mq on mine. I also have a desktop 3060 Ti but haven't hooked it up directly outside of using parsec to remote in.
this is by no means a 1440p card and i know you said it but theres lots of people out there buying this card thinking it will perform in 1440p or even 4k is nonsense
@@sarathkumar5704 is good , i use upsacle 2k using dsr , good performance , but if u mind use other serie cpu 12/14 or 7000 for 1080p , will be difference performance 20% 40% , exemple cs2 at 14600k at 1080P 400fps vs 250fps on 10600k .
33:22 i am confused to why this card gets so much hate. it is a 1080p card yet in this title it can give you 70fps in 1440p at native resolution. those people who complain got serious issues. plus this is not the 16GB variant, well you didnt specific or i havent seen, though i do see 10GB on this title.
@@AncientGameplays For Cemu worked just with Alt+Enter Yuzu has on the menu borderless by default, I have to change it to full exclusive to make it work.
Performs surprisingly well @1440p with the right settings. I don' think the card will age well but if you're gaming right now it's not that bad for 4050 ti.
This card is laughable, at $450 for the 16GB and 8GB $370, just like the upcoming 40 series "Super". 12GB 6700XT can be had for $290 and 6800 16GB $380. But I'm just here to support the channel.
What’s so funny about it though? A majority of showcased games could be played at a native 2k with perfectly stable 60+ fps. For more demanding titles like Starfield or Alan Wake 2 you could use DLSS and also play perfectly fine. I have this card and for me it’s perfect at this moment, never once regretted buying it. To me your post seems like an edgy attention seeking, no offense but I just cannot see it any other way.
@@prolerius1935 Yeah, agreed. I ordered one. Someone who is actually looking for a GPU at this segment are buying the 4060 and 4060ti over the 3000 series ones. Only AMD fanboys and 3060ti owners are complaining. From my perspective I am definitely not going for the 3000 series after 4000 released. AMD is out of my list in case of GPUs, I just don’t care even if AMD provides better value.
@@AncientGameplaysHey 🙂 I wanted to know the best AMD processor to take for a 4060Ti to avoid bottleneck and have the best possible performance in AM4 and also in AM5 (I play in 1440p)? (Let no one judge my choice of GPU, I want an NVIDIA I know that an AMD would be less expensive and with better performance.)
ótimo vídeo, é uma boa gpu pra quem quer entrar no mundo pc gamer CXB, já pra quem tem uma rtx3060, 3060ti em diante acho que já não é uma boa opção. LIKE!
Yes pretty much the same. On 4060Ti level of graphic card CPU is rarely a bottleneck, and 12400F is also 6 core, just a little bit slower than 7600X. You would need to get to RTX 4080 to get some first CPU bottleneck on 12400F.
It's not like anyone playing it, but i suggest testing Saints Row inside city, after tutorial and endless bullets action parody. How is the GPU itself? Is it stutter free in PUBG? What was causing stutters in Talos Principle 2? 14:11 That part is short, you'll see the real world in this game after that. 54:02 yeah very tense moment for both the graphics and the player
8 gb version can be found for 368 euro which is not that bad tbh but if it was a 16 gb, it would we a good deal, but 8 gb mostly go for 453 euro and 16 for 520 which is too much for that perfomance and tier which is really 4050 ti
hey i been trying to sell me pc but no luck yet. i was wondering if you will like to buy it off me? its a good pc and i want maybe like $700 for it, i know is dumb telling u this cause ur yt is about gpu and ima assume u have all the gpu and cpu in the world lol but idk i might as wel take a shot
