Many people had high hopes for the 4070ti super, and here it turns out that in many cases that you have shown is an increase of 10 fps for 30% higher price in comparison to 4070 super.
Frametimes look a lot more solid though. It will age a lot better than the 4070 S. Though for 1440p the non-TI seems great. I'd personally rather spend a bit more to not have to upgrade in 2 years due to low VRAM.
The one mistake Nvidia made with the 4070 Ti Super was not rising L2 caché as well. Yep, the VRAM is bigger as well as the bandwidth, but the card needs to access the VRAM just the same as the normal 4070 Ti cause they both have 48Mb. Should've got 64Mb like the 4080. In 4K it's a different story tho.
Not yet and native 4K as a test is not planned. Next videos: 4070 Ti SUPER vs 7900 XT (1440p) 4070 Ti SUPER - 21:9 (3440x1440) 4070 Ti SUPER - 1080p, 1440p, 4K+DLSS Quality RX 7600 XT
@@BENCHMARKSFORGAMERSI can’t decide between the 4070 super and 4070ti super for my 27 inch 1440p 240hz OLED, don’t know if that extra 200 is worth it for 4 more gb of vram, opinion?
I got a 4070 super with a xeon 2660v3 It work perfectly well in 1440p with ray tracing. Even cyberpunk with FG and DLSS quality I have 60+ fps in path tracing (put volumetric fogs in lowest settings) I can play at max settings in all games without dlss except cyberpunk and Alan wake.
@@AnonymousUser-ww6nsthe 4070 super is the best bang for your buck in today’s economy. Compared to any graphics card, produced currently by nvidia, on a price/performance basis. So your analysis is half flawed. The 4070ti super portion I agree with.
Yeah. I’ll def just stick with the 4070S for my needs. For 1080p I think the 12GB should serve me well for several years. Hoping it’s my next 1070ti 👍🏻
@@RainOrbs not IMO. I’d rather have headroom for longevity and tend to render games at a higher resolution using DLDSR. Plus I can just turn on all the bells and whistles and let it roll. Sure not gonna spend $500 for the 4060 16GB.
Having multiple monitors and that extra VRAM for content creation is somewhat worth it... but damn! I wish the performance on gaming was just a bit better, an extra 30FPS at least would've been nice!
I don't understand. For over a year, people were cursing out Nvidia and yelling "we need more VRAM!" Nvidia gives them 33% more memory for the Same Price and people are still complaining! The 4070 ti Super costs a lot less than the 4080 and it's nipping at the 4080's heels in performance/specs. What were you getting for $800 five years ago? A 3080 with 10GB?
4070 super ya es mas que suficiente para 1440p y 1080p aun la verdad sigue siendo caro para mi yo me estoy esperando a que liquiden la 4070 a 400 dólares para comprarla jeje
I've been trying to decide between the Ti version and the non Ti version. Thought I'd get the Ti because of it's 16Gb of VRAM vs 12Gb, but in this demo, it looks like the VRAM usage for the non Ti routinely goes beyond 12Gb with no issues. If that's the case, then there's no reason for the Ti to even exist if it's only offering a 8-10% increase in FPS for $200 more. Am I missing something here?
I just got the new Alienware 4k OLED 32'' monitor, I want to run games in 4k obviously, so I went the RTX 4070 Ti Super instead of the RTX 4070. Was this the right call?
I can see no one has replied yet so if you are still wondering… don’t worry mate you made the right call. You will benefit from that extra horsepower and vram the most at 4K.
Just chose to buy a 4070 super instead of Ti Super after seeing this. $200 more for a +10 FPS average in 1440p max settings (which is typically what I aim for) is just not worth it.
I went with a 850w for this combo but if a quality unit, a 750w may work just fine. Others may be able to comment better. As I understood, using less capacity than rated is good for the psu
I'm not saying that Ti Super is the best product ever, but it would be nice to see a raw performance benchmark without the DLSS always enabled. There things are a bit different. The gap starts to increase a bit.
Tbh I've been watching benches of the above cards for the past two days and was shocked at this guy's low frame rates?!? Maybea. Driver issue when this video was made maybe?
The only reason I got the 4070 Super is because the founder's edition just fits, and my PSU is only 500 watts. If I had a big case and big PSU, I would've got the 4070 ti Super. I don't think $800 is a bad price for TI Super, despite what all these "influencers" say.
@@spinb i have both coming in the mail and i think im going to keep the ti super. its faster and runs very cool. also the vram means i dont have to worry.
Wow, if this benchmark is genuine.. Then the 4070ti Super is way WAY OVERPRICED !!! For only a fps encrease of barely 10fps avg, the Ti-Super cost 35% more than the 4070Super in europe !! Ti-S 850€ (cheapest) 4070S 650€ With a performance difference of only 5% between the TI-S and 4070S the , price of the Ti-Super needs to go DOWN quite a bit.. if this ↑ tube is genuine 🤔 !!
Only 5%? 🙄 Ratchet and Clank: 66 vs 76 FPS = 15% Avatar: 56 vs 67 FPS = 19.6% Alan Wake 2: 48 vs 52 FPS = 8.3% Forza Motorsport: 70 vs 79 FPS = 12.9% Starfield: 67 vs 76 FPS = 13.4% ....
It is 15% faster in avg. But yeah better to get 4070s and wait for a year and resale on 5000 series relase then to waste 200-250e extra for 10-15 more fps.
@@BENCHMARKSFORGAMERS 10% .. 15% is = STILL MEh-MEDIOCRE gainz .. Same goes for IPC improvements 🤨 !! After seeing the meh-mediocre performance gainz from the Ti-"super", even at 4K despite the more Vram !! Compared to the SUPER OVERPRICED price tag !! I decided to go for an 2nd hand Msi Gaming X trio 4070Ti .. 🙂👌 I got the 2nd hand but (sealed) 4070ti for only 650€, while 4070Ti super from MSI cheapest i price i could find is (are you sitting down?) 999€ !!!! Almost 1K ಠ_ಠ !!! NO 4070ti ""super"" can BEAT THAT ↑ 😆
No one will buy this Card, Nvidia is fooling its Fans again! 👎AMD Fans are once again laughing at Nvidia Fans. 😄 The only added value with Raytracing (in medium Details) would only be WQHD. 😁 Thanks for the Tests BFG, Your work was once again excellent.👍
