My Grandmother wrote that Samoan version of this song and she has CD albums with her version but it’s not found on RU-vid and we miss her so much. Thank you for sharing her lyrics

Yeah I remember. Oh how soothing her voice was ! Literally. I would just stop whatever I was doing and listen to it when it’s played on the radio. I tried Googling it too, and couldn’t find it so I stopped. It was my grandmother’s favorite song and she passed when I was 10. 18yo later and still love her version to bits !

WOW!!... The Missus & I listen to all the golden oldies, and have our favorites... And we have always loved this song sung by Anne Murray, however listening to this by Lady Kiri has shifted our love for this song, to her!! 🙂

❤The first time listening to this song I just couldn't stop playing it over n over. I was looking for my oldest favorite Hawaiians musics n some Micronesian n Marshallese musics few yrs ago when I found this Samoan version. I've been gone from home [[South Pacific Islands] for almost 50yrs😢 just trying to our songs 😅

OMGawdt I flippin LOVE this. I heard this one last Saturday on one of buses to Aleipata and loved it immediately I had to look it up on YT. I’ve heard so many renditions of this song and of course I love the original but this one is lit no cap !!!
