I purchased gym flooring and cork underpayment for a room with concrete, however, I decided to do it in another room that already has “standard carpet”. Do I need to pull the carpet up and start fresh or can I use the adhesive to lay the cork and gym rolls to put on top of the carpet? Obviously I’m being lazy lol but I just want to know my options?
What if I keep a thin insulating foam under the puzzle rubber mat?? I just removed the carpet from basement (over concrete base), and found this nice smooth thin foam that looks brand new. Can I just place the mat on top of it?? Anybody has done this before?? Thanks.
Did you successfully do this? I'm in progress now where I pulled up carpet and thin foam underlayment has been left. I haven't purchased flooring yet, but undecided if I should put on top of the thin foam or remove that and start on fresh subfloor.
Very cheap installation work, according to the manufacturer, rubber flooring must be glued down with the. Manufacturer recommended glue, any. Other procedure will instantly void the factory guarantee and this runs for mostly all manufacturer companies.
