One thing about me, if I think I can do it myself best believe imma try😭 - This was my first time using crotchet and it took a while but it came out so cute! You can criss cross the front, play around with the texture or even bond in/sew in the hair but this was IT for me👌🏽 What y’all think? Details below btw💕

There's no way I could do all that work for a week, I keep my crochets no less than a month lol, but I pick hair that will last and match my 4b/4c texture cuz my hair is waaaay too thick to do my hair again in a week 😂 I'd fall out!

Im trying to figure out why only 1 wk. Might be the hair tangling.. that curly hair tangles quick.. thats why i do crochet faux locs and braids. Or straight hair thatll curl. Tooo much work for 1 wk.

Hello! So I tried the hairstyle with Mayde 20 inch water curl hair. I got their 3x pack and used about 3-4 packs (this made it super full so you really don’t need this much hair). The hairstyle was cute and I took it out after 2 weeks. It could’ve lasted 3 weeks TBH. I just made sure to keep my (XL) bonnet on in the house and used a trash bag to prevent the hair from getting wet in the shower (yes I know….a little ghetto 😂). I think it’s a cute protective style that is worth it and can last up to 3 weeks if you maintain it. Thanks for the hairstyle inspo girl!

When I did this I was able to keep it in for about 2 weeks... I washed it like normal hair and then the hair that would fall out in the shower I put it back in or just kept it out. So cute and I loved waking up not having to do my hair.

Came here to say this. Mine lasts 2-3. Silicone spray is also a life saver. Foam! Silicon spray. And twist it up at night. You can get 2-3 weeks easy.

I did this style about a month ago and it’s still holding up! I will be taking it out in the next few days, but as it got older, I was able to style my edges and put the back in a clip. I got so many compliments!

Sis i got a tip and question, what only lasted for a week? the weave or the rubber band parts.... If it was the hair getting frezzy and tangled ... I have a game changer saloution! This stuff will make the weave look great for a month. It's a hair product I get from my local beauty supply called proline comb-thru softener, it's in a black bottle with green and yellow writing and smell like baby powder.

I know this is old... But my hair last a month or longer EVERY TIME. I get compliments up until the day I'm going to take it out. Here's a few tricks I've learned: -She's putting way too much in at one time. I use one string of hair at a time lol. - I can usually pull 2 or 3 pieces out of one curl - I put edge control on each string of hair It takes longer but last way longer than a week. That's a waste of time that I don't have to waste Lol.

That's beautiful but with all of the time and effort you spent on doing this hairstyle it should have lasted longer than that, because I'm sure it was time consuming.
