Ruben Flores speaks out after not guilty verdict 

What evidence are you using that caused you to believe Ruben is guilty of being an accessory to murder? Be specific!

@@Caleb_Mandrake872 a witness testified that Susan Flores confided to her that Ruben got a phone call in the middle of the night the night Kristin disappeared, and he got in his truck and took off without saying a word. After Kristin’s disappearance, he changed the bed liner in Paul’s truck and then they sold it very soon after. His truck was conveniently ‘stolen’ right when investigators started looking into the family more closely. It was recovered in Mexico. As I mentioned, he was heard by multiple people to call Kristin a ‘dirty sl*t’ and when Stan Smart came to see him, peacefully, asking to talk, Ruben told him to get off his property before ‘someone gets shot’. Why would you react like that to the father of a missing teenager? Ground penetrating radar found an anomaly under Ruben’s deck measuring 6 feet by 4 feet. Cadaver dogs alerted to this same spot to indicate the scent of human remains. When the ground was dug up, 2 feet down they found staining which was identified by forensic specialists to be the exact type of staining that occurs when a human body decomposes and releases fluids I got he surrounding earth. This soil tested positive for human blood but was too degraded to yield any DNA. Neighbours photographed Susan’s boyfriend Mike McConville park his trailer at Ruben’s house one afternoon in a spot that specifically blocked THAT section of the property from the street. It remained there all night and so did Ruben, Susan and Mike. Later, tests on Mike’s trailer showed evidence of blood. Testing showed it was positive for human blood, but, you guessed it- it was too degraded to obtain a DNA sample. Just like the blood detected in the hole under Ruben’s deck. Multiple newspaper articles about Kristin Smart were found in Ruben’s home, specifically in his bedroom. At Susan’s rental property, the tenants reported hearing a watch alarm beeping at 4:20am every day for the first several months of them living there. It was coming from underneath a concreted garden bed. Kristin worked a last a lifeguard and often started work at 5am. @@leanneheffernan2447 Thank you! Did police dig up & find the watch alarm underneath that concrete or was it just a theory? I heard about the blood being found underneath the deck but that it yielded nothing so I was trying to find other usable information.

@@Caleb_Mandrake872 they did get a warrant to dig up Susan’s backyard, twice, but at one search there were specific areas of the yard they were not allowed to search and that particular garden bed was one of them. On the other search, the police opted not to tear up any concrete because it would cost too much to repair afterwards, so it was never dug up. Very frustrating!!

Except Ruben Flores was not rambling. He walked us thru what was happening while behind the scenes. Also, your claim is inaccurate. People ramble for several different reasons.

If I’m innocent, I’m leaving the area to live in peace. But then again, if I had a body buried on my property that hasn’t been found, that I’m claiming isn’t there, I could never ever leave.

I mean he’s guilty of helping his son cover up Kristin’s murder and disposing of her body, and he should go to prison.

@@brianzhou171 If it means her body can finally be given to her parents, I think it’s worth considering. We don’t know the specifics of a sentence deal, if there even will be one. I’m just saying, I’m hoping it works out well. But I suppose I’m not the authority on that.

@@brianzhou171 It’s not that simple... he almost certainly doesn’t know where the body is. I doubt Paul would have just come right out and told him. And even if that was the case, there’s client confidentiality. So... no. I wish it was that simple though.
