Rubeus Hagrid’s Umbrella Wand Review from Noble Collection

I appreciate your honesty and yes I’ve seen other reviews that just gush but those people have worked with WB and I’m sure want to keep it that way. Even with those flaws I’d still eventually pick it up. Noble collection had lesser quality on Hagrid’s lantern too.

A wand is around $30 depending on which box version you choose.... this wand is more than double the size and has functionality which no other wand has... im struggling to understand why you don't think the price is justified...

I already picked this “wand” up, and for me the price wasn’t an issue at all, because it was 60€ but at the same time the ollivander collection wands are 40€ each, and that’s not just one and a half wands, it’s a whole umbrella... Though the way you’re talking about it I’m beginning to think that 40 for the wands may just be so expensive that the umbrella pales in comparison... Who knows? Still, I like it :)

For your question if there are umbrellas that cost $60, yes they exist. The brand Davek makes luxary umbrellas upwards of $300. They say it's more durable than the average umbrella and some of them come with a bluetooth sensor that you can pair up with your phone in case you forget it somewhere. That is way too techy for me. But yeah $60 for an umbrella is a bit much. Some fans who have also bought the umbrella feel that the fabric isn't even waterproof. So it's more like a parasol than an umbrella. As for the bent part, it's possible that it's a defect, but it could also be on purpose. If you remember, Ollivander described Hagrid's wand being "bendy".

Hectic been waiting for this for long

I have had a $150 umbrella and they are definitely better quality. The metal ribs and joints are sturdier, so the umbrella doesn't go inside out in windy weather. The landles feel good in the hand, solid. Like comparing a good quality pen and a cheap one. But then I lost the expensive umbrella on the bus, and it was depressing to have lost it (it was a gift). So $60 isn't bad if it's a good replica. That umbrella's material doesn't look waterproof, though, so it might not be useful in the rain, even if you wanted to risk damage, soiling, or loss. Maybe as a sun pparasol?

I think the thing I’m most amazed about is that it does sort of work as an umbrella. Doesn’t mean I’ll get it, though.

my only feeling for this wand is I sort of wish the umbrella looked more patchworked or handmade. It just doesn't look like something Hadgrid would have made and carried around with him for decades.

I don’t know what noble collection is doing anymore there is so many items they could recreate, but they choose hagrids bloody umbrella, like, it doesn’t even look like it does in the movie, idk anymore, I haven’t bought something from noble collection since Christmas, I got Draco’s wand and the paint job was really really bad, for the money my parents paid I hoped for what was advertised,

I'll probably get this eventually just because Hagrid's my favorite character😅 I do agree that its pretty expensive though. Its should be like $40.

Really your paying an extra $20 for length and a functioning part of the wand vs a normal $40 wand

You actually gave a very fair review - I really do not like this umbrella/wand at all - for all the reasons you stated. Really just overpriced. Not even thinking about getting this one!!

Man I have to agree just by watching this video it doesn’t seem to be very good, I’m disappointed that you’re disappointed. Man I would love to see Kivox make his own version of Wand/umbrella. Well I get the Some day yes just for a collection sakes but I’m not any in any hurry right now to get it. Hi thanx for your review,I just got mine today as a bday gift, and I'm not overly impressed with it either,im a huge HP fan and when I recieve my items I expect them to be in pristine con and worth the money of course.I dont think it's well made for the £55 paid for it,it has 2 puncture holes near the mechanism that opens the umbrella,also where the metal mechanism is the wood is roughly finished off.Im gutted as it was something that I was really excited about and couldn't wait to recieve :( I'm returning mine and hopefully mine is just a faulty one but I expected more I think

The honesty is the reason I watch. The only time I dont like the “honesty” is When you review wands by beginners. Its nice to be giving constructive critisism but sometimes i have the feeling you forget the constructive part. Which might be demotivating for beginners.

It's just a pink umbrella and if it was a true replica of Hagrid's umbrella it would be a pink flowered umbrella. I don't know why they cannot just replicate it straight from the books. 🙄 You're disrespecting Hagrid

I wrote my previous comment before I finished the video. But Holy crap. 60 bucks? I guess you're paying for a name. But I still don't get everyone's obsession with Noble Collection. Sure, they make decent replicas. But they lose me with the obvious and ugly trademark stamps.

The umbrella looks like crap. Hagrids was old and warn. And it didn't fold up all the way. It looked like it was a wand. This looks like a mom walked through an umbrella shop and went you know what would be neat. I could make the handle wide and had some brass peaces. Oh no I messed up a bit. Oh well suzie won't notice.
