Ruby Fpv fixed wing flight with Talon Rebel GT

A small demonstration of what's possible with RubyFPV on a fixed wing platform.
Compared to my previous attempts I believe upgrading the ground side wifi card to a dual antenna setup with an included rubber ducky antenna paired with a more focused patch style antenna seems to provide a very stable connection within 500m radius. I've yet to test further distances.

Pagoda-2 antenna
Ground side:
Raspberry Pi 3
Alfa Network AWUS036AC usb wifi card
TrueRC X-AIR 5.8 V1 antenna

It really is a great wing, flies much more efficiently than you'd imagine for the wing span. I've just plonked the video/radio gear on top, weighs around 200g and isn't aerodynamic and it's made absolutely no difference to how it flies!

This one's definitely a solid platform, I've made some improvements with wiring and antennas over previous models and getting great results with the video feed. I'll bring it over your way soon

I'm currently using the Raspberry Pi Zero Cam although I'm not entirely happy with the quality especially how soft the focus is and the slow lighting adaption. I do plan to upgrade at some point
