Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani pleaded not guilty in Arizona on charges related to an alleged scheme to present phony electors in the 2020 election. Giuliani was among former President Donald Trump's allies who were arraigned Tuesday. CBS News senior White House and political correspondent Ed O'Keefe has more.

I think you misunderstand what "Breaking News" means. It simply means it is the first time they are reporting that story and it is fresh. From tomorrow on that news will no longer be breaking. "Breaking News" as a term doesn't mean there is any extra significance to the story than that. It's literally in the name. To mean what you seem to think it does the term would need to be changed to "Surprising News".

Pleaded is proper English. Perhaps English is your second language. Perhaps Google before you comment lest you flaunt your ignorance. But don't feel bad...every public school in the US falls well behind over half those in the rest of the industrialized world. The government is purposely dumbing down the population. No, there’s nothing illegal about creating a slate of alternate electors for the loser of a presidential election. It only becomes illegal when you fraudulently submit the slate of fake electors you created as if they were the actual slate, especially, as in the case of Michigan, after the Democratic candidate won the state’s popular vote. The 16 defendants in that case have been charged in state court for fraud, forgery, and conspiracy to commit forgery.

Here is one thing that I am wondering about. Watch the hearing at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Pulx8f22MK4.html Did Rudy not claim in this initial appearance (almost 1-1/2 hours late) that he did not know about the summons that the Arizona AG was serving him with. Then if Rudy did not know about this summons, then why did he post, "If Arizona authorities can't find me by tomorrow morning: 1. They must dismiss the indictment; 2. They must concede they can't count votes.". Before being served with the summons! Did Rudy not just commit perjury? Just something to think about!
