Non capisco l'accanimento terapeutico nei confronti del finale di Turandot.... Se quello di Berio con Puccini non c'entra un accidente, questo é assolutamente fuori luogo

Not the "wrong final." A different final. A finale written by a Chinese composer to be premiered in a Chinese theatre. Puccini did not finish his Turandot. I would argue it is closer to right in the sense that thematically, it does not recall upon "Nessun Dorma," which, while Puccini knew it would be a hit, should not be reprised in the finale. He NEVER did this in any of his operas and Alfano made a massive error. Puccini's motifs are based solely on the emotional and dramatic context. They are never based on the potential popularity.
